Break things off before they go too far

You pull away from Gilly as you both return to sitting on the bench.

“That was… uh that was.” He stammers.

“Nice.” You say thoughtfully. “But don’ let Petra know.” Gilly nods furiously in agreement. You end up steering the conversation back to more normal things and tell Gilly a bit about yourself. He seems very interested in learning about the Baltslag mountains as well as Anvilhearth. He mentions that he’d love to visit you at your home in Anvilhearth if you ever go back. The two of you agree to make it a plan before Petra returns with the tea. She sets it down, and takes a seat.
