Stones of the Flame and the trials ahead

Blair had many ideas running through her head, but they didn't prepare her for what she was about to see. By the time she finally finished her meal and had walked out of the backroom, she saw Yoshito sitting on the middle stone without his shirt on. She could barely catch glimpses of his skin within the small gaps between his beautiful tails as they swayed slowly, the way they danced back and forth reminded her of a gentle flame.

When she finally walked around to the front of the zen garden, she saw five different colored glowing stones resting in front of Yoshito. His eyes were closed, but what surprised her more was that the three spiritual flames were floating several inches above those stones. She decided to use Observe on these stones before walking the path towards Yoshito.

Yellow Spiritual Stone of the Flame: Legendary Quality. Presents a trial of Fear for the user to pass, difficulty increases per trial passed. Trial may only be cleared once. Material: Essence of Earth, Crystallized Ectoplasm, and Condensed Ashes of Pompeii. Unbreakable Durability.

Black Spiritual Stone of the Flame: Legendary Quality. Presents a trial of **** for the user to pass, difficulty increases per trial passed. Trial may only be cleared once. Material: Essence of Undeath, Crystallized Ectoplasm, and Condensed Ashes of Pompeii. Unbreakable Durability.

White Spiritual Stone of the Flame: Legendary Quality. Presents a trial of Life for the user to pass, difficulty increases per trial passed. Trial may only be cleared once. Material: Essence of Life, Crystallized Ectoplasm, and Condensed Ashes of Pompeii. Unbreakable Durability.

Blair's eyes widened as she read that, not only were they legendary quality, but they had Condensed Ashes from Pompeii? She had heard stories of its down fall, but this made it sound like it had very real and deep ties to the Abyss. She shook her head as she realized that something like this really shouldn't surprise her. At this point, she wouldn't be surprised if every major event had roots in the Abyss as well. Why shouldn't it? After all, the fate of the world matters to both sides.

She noticed the closer she got to the stones, the more the spirits moved away from them. Her eyes watched each one a moment before her eyes focused once again on Yoshito, her eyes were momentarily distracted by his firm pectoral muscles and his toned stomach. She shook her head to rid herself of those naughty thoughts before sitting in front of Yoshito and those glowing stones.

After she sat down, Yoshito's eyes opened as he spoke. "These are the stones I was referring to earlier. To give a bit of history, these were created from Mount Vesuvius's catastrophic eruption in 79 A.D." He looked down to the stones then back up into Blair's eyes. "These are called the Spiritual Stones of the Flame. With their blessing you will be granted power, guidance, reasoning, understanding, and skill. However, you must pass a trial first. Each stone has a different trial, and with each one you successfully pass, the next one will be that much harder."

He let out a breath before continuing to speak. "I must warn you that there have only been three people who have passed all five trials. From personal experience I can tell you that what you will face is not what you would expect. Each trial is personal and can be earth shattering. When you are ready, place your hand on a stone and clear your mind. Oh, just so you know, these trials can be passed by anyone, but only if they put everything on the line. Um, I know it is cliche, but good luck, Blair."

There was only one thing left to do and that was to pick a stone, but which one first? Red, blue, yellow, black, or white?
