There was some reduction in the guardswomen's hostility toward Calvo following his rescue of Stripe from the tentacles of the creature. Although they could hardly be described as well desposed toward their captor, their was at least no overt rebellion. Indeed, Calvo thought he caught a glimpse of grudging respect in the glances of the lightly freckled, redheaded Guard Captain. She was clearly a commander who hated to loose anyone serving under her. As for Stripe herself, she walked with her arm around the hip of her clone sister, V, allowing her lover to support her, since the tug of one of the tentacles had wrenched her ankle. Every now and again however, she would glance in Calvo's direction, her look almost fearful, though perhaps mingled with something else?

As Tau-Ceti set, and the temperature began to plunge, Calvo began to hunt for a place to pass the freezing night. Just this once, fortune seemed to smile on him. In the dying light, he led his captives to a cave in a vertical wall of rock, a cliff that towered hundreds of meteres above them. The entrance was small and unpromising, but inside opened out in to a connected series of caverns. Better still, the largest of these contained a steaming l pool, the water bubling hot from a geothermal spring. The heat and steam from the water made the cave complex uncomfortably warm and sultry, but that was far better than the raw, lethal cold of the night outside.

Calvo gathered the guards in to the cave furthest from the hot pool, were the steamy heat was the least overpowering.

"Right, ladies, here is what we are going to do. I'm gonna allow you to go to the hot pool, one at a time, to wash yourselves and your clothes. You each get 20 minutes, no more. As each comes back, I'll re-tie her hands, and release the next. Clear?"

The guardswomen nodded. Calvo didn't think they would cause any trouble, at least not right now. He was armed, and he doubted that any one of them would try to make a run for it alone, through the bitter Tau-Cetan night. He untied one of the clone twins, and nodded in the direction of the hot springs, tossing her one of the glow-globes. It pale, silvery illumination cast strange shifting shadows on the rugged rock of the walls.

Once the clone had dissapeared out of sight, Calvo secured the rest of the guardswomen, before moving away to thoroughly explore the caves. He wanted to make very sure that there were no nasty suprises....he was coming to the conclusion that Tau-Ceti Two never offered anything free of risk. However the twisted rock passages and chambers were all empty. He was about to return when he noticed light spilling from a narrow opening at the base of a rock wall. Lowering himself on to his hands and knees, Calvo crawled carefully through a narrow pasage way, his heart hammering in his chest. Switching his own glowglobe off, so as not to give away his position, he inched forward the last few feet to where the narrow passage opened out.

The narrow fissure had twisted its way back to the large cavern, dominated by the softly steaming hot pool. The light was coming from the glowglobe he had given the clone guard.....it was Stripe, he could now see, because she was lying naked, a few feet from the steaming water, glistening wet from her recent bath. Her wet uniform was spread to dry on a large flat rock .The sleekly muscular guardswoman's eyes were closed, her soft, pouting lips parted, as her hands cupped and caressed her firm, heavy breasts. Her nipples jutted proudly, and her thighs rubbed together as she writhed on the stony cave floor.The bleached white bar of her pubes seemed to shine in the glowglobe's light, as did the cropped platinum fuzz of her hair. Calvo felt himself stiffen, smiling silently in the darkness as he heard the guardswoman's whispred gasps....

"Ohhh yeahhh....Calvo.....fuck....................."
