Jade barely acknowledged Sapphires leaving, and James figured it was probably best not to go chasing after her. Besides, Jade had finished her patty and was looking back up at him hopefully. So, James quickly pulled down a plate, stacked the patties on it, and headed out to the living room. Well, he couldn't just stand in the kitchen handing food down. Maybe if Jade was a normal dog, but this way just felt kind of weird. But then, what about today hasn't been weird?

As Jade followed behind, James found it interesting how she walked. She didn't walk on hands and knees, but rather on her hands and feet. In a way, it was similar to the sort of sexy all-fours crawling someone might do when they tried a 'sexy cat' crawl, but this was more strait forward and matter of fact. It seemed perfectly natural, no over exaggerated swaying of the hips. Even so, it was still sexy.

Sitting on the couch, James watched as Jade put he front paws on the seat beside him, and hopped up with her feet. It was surreal how much she acted like a common canine, yet he could tell by her eyes and how quickly she picked up ques that she was far more intelligent than she seemed. Heck, he knew people who didn't pick up on things as quickly as Jade.

That aside, Jade was staring intently at the plate of food on his lap, so James picked one up and offered it to her. She reached out, then paused, looking at him once more with a silent question. It took him a moment before he finally got the hint, she was wondering if he was going to eat too. James picked up another patty and bit into it, making Jade let out a cute sigh as she took her share.
