Stay with Ross

As much as you want to storm back to your house and get the answers you desperately need, you can't. You aren't in the right mental or emotional state to handle that conversation. And if your father is in on this plan... You can already feel your heart breaking from the mere thought of being betrayed by the only parent you have.

You take a deep breath and focus on calming down. There is a chance you won't get pregnant, however small it is, and Ross is still interested even after all this. Your life isn't over.

Ross watches you from his side of the bed, waiting for you to make a move. You take his hand and squeeze, feeling the tears well up in your eyes. "You aren't going to leave me?" you ask, needing to know you had at least one person on your side.

"Of course." he says, squeezing back, "I have your back if you have mine."

"Okay..." you say, taking another breath, "Okay. We need a plan. We need to know what we're doing from here on out."

"I'm going to confront my dad in the morning." he says, eyes lighting up with fury, "I know I needed a baby, but fuck! Not like this. It won't fix any of this bullshit, but I need to."

"I understand." you say, "I'll confront mine in the morning as well... I can't stay with him if he did help come up with this plan. Is it cool if I come back here? At least till I can figure out where to go?"

"Yeah, of course!" he says, "I don't know how long I'll have this apartment though. Dad got it for me... I've got plenty of money stowed away though and once I get my degree, we'll be fine."

You nod. "Go take a shower." Ross says, "Get cleaned up while I take care of this mess. I'll crash on the couch tonight."

Again you nod, having lost the energy to speak. This was not how you were expecting the night to go at all...
