Chapter 28
by
Manbear
Do they risk the Demons on the far side of the water or try the unmarked passagways?
Stay on the original path through the water
"I think we can get through here." You tell Cassia "I doubt the other two demons will be able to harm us now that we are ready for them. Are you willing to try?"
"I don't know Adonis." Cassia answers hesitantly "I can't swim nearly as well as you, and we'll have to keep our supplies dry as well." You hadn't thought about the difficulty of bringing your armor and supplies with you, but looking over the leather suit where it lay at your feet you get an idea.
"How about if we pack the padding into the armor's leggings." You say as you demonstrate by stuffing the quilted tunic into one of the legs of your armor. The oiled leather should be fairly water resistant. "And as for swimming, I swam because it was easier, but most of the way we can walk and hold the bundles over our heads." You can see the doubt in her eyes, but smile reassuringly. "You can do this Cassia, this part is easy." You are not sure if it your persuasive argument, or more likely the lack of a better alternative but with a sigh of acceptance she starts removing the armor that she had just finished tightening.
Immediately you realized that to make this work you would both have to be naked again. Like before, on the black rock Cassia steps from her clothing calmly, but this time her slender body begins to tremble with emotion. When she speaks her voice is barely audible.
"What you said before Adonis, about finding me pleasing." She pauses and stands before you with her arms held slightly raised from her side, so you see every inch of her naked body. "Did you mean it, or did you just say that to make it easier for me." Your eyes travel over her body again drinking in every tiny bit of her bare skin, and your cock throbs with desire.

"I meant it Cassia, you are the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. Your body is as perfect as a marble statue, and your heart is as flawless as well." Cassia smiles hesitantly and then asks:
"And what you said about not leaving me, even when we find Eudora, did you mean that too." Stepping close to Cassia you gently run a single finger along her cheek and jaw, you tilt her face to meet your eyes squarely.
"I meant that too, I want to be with you and protect you for as long as you will have me." Lifting her mouth to yours you press your lips softly to her full lips sealing your words with a gentle kiss.
In a way, the kiss was more intimate than the wild coupling the two of you had shared not long ago. Pressing her naked body against yours Cassia returns your gentle kiss with an intensity that sends waves of desire surging through your body. Then as quickly as the kiss burned out of control, it is over. Cassia pushes reluctantly away from your embrace and steps a few paces away.
"Then I trust you, Adonis, and trust the gods as well to see us through your dreamer’s quest." Suddenly Cassia giggles freely and points to your still rampant member. "Are you going to walk through the entire catacombs like that?" Her voice softens again as she adds "As soon as it is safe you can have me again, as often as you like until I have satisfied that need of yours, I promise." With a newfound sense of urgency you return to the task of securing your possessions in the leggings of your armor.
Ten minutes later you look over your handiwork. The stuffed leggings are folded over and tied tightly at their ends with rope, and the bulky hauberks are rolled as tightly as possible as well and tied to your shovel/axe. Lifting you bundles in your arms you look back at Cassia's naked body as she bends to lift her smaller bundle. Her promise to satisfy you still hanging in the air like a fragrant flower filling your senses.
“Are you ready?” you ask.
Do you cross safely?
