Start another day.

After a relaxing sleep in your brand new bed, you feel refreshed and ready to go. Eva's boldness last night was surprising as well. You get dressed, have breakfast, and then you decide to hand your magic mirror over to the mages in hopes they can use their combined knowledge to make certain it's safe. It would be strange for it not to be, given each Demon King surely has the resources to find out, and Elok would know that. Still, you don't want to take any chances. You call Mela, and of course Eva too. You decide to send for Dajy, as she may not be a mage, but she may have useful insight on potentially cursed magic items. Vivi seems to have already departed to the capital, so she won't be around to help.

They all arrive in the meeting room soon after.

Mela floats around the mirror placed on the table. "Ooh. Very fancy. It is like a scrying pool, but you can take it anywhere."

You look to Eva. "What do you think?"

She turns pink as your eyes fall onto her. "I... I'll have to take a look," she replies quietly.

"Are you well?" Mela asks. "I hope you are not getting a fever."

"I'm fine!" she blurts out in response.

Dajy smiles wide and taps a fingernail against her chin. She shifts her gaze straight towards you. "Interesting... What did you do to little Eva I wonder."

"Don't worry about it," you reply. "So what do you think?"

"I think she's reliving something in her head right now."

"I meant about the mirror."

She holds it up and stares at her own reflection. "It reminds me of when you first saved me from Sa'dis. While it would be strange for this Elok Daven to have cursed such an item, we'll take a gander. We have no true expert on enchanted items, but perhaps we should ask that blacksmith you brought here. She might be of help."

"Ah. I didn't even think of that," you say. "Do whatever you need to do. I--"

"What's going on in here, eh?" a voice interrupts. Stax walks in through the door, followed by both Koblix and Mipa. "If I'm a spy, I need to know about all secret meetings."

"That's not exactly how that works, and this meeting is also not a secret." You roll your eyes. "It's good to see you though. I was meaning to ask you something."

"Same here." A wide grin stretches across the goblins face. Her eyes shift between you and Eva. "About last night."

Eva turns red and covers her mouth.

"Hey, uh. We should go talk about what you and the other spies have been up to. These girls need time to investigate the mirror." You beckon your hand and try to get the goblins to follow you back out into the throne room.

Stax snickers and follows behind. "If you say so."

Once you're a distance away from the door, you lean against one of the columns and cross your arms. "So, has anyone found anything yet? Ruins? Caves? Cities of gold?"

She seems to be ignoring you. Stax squeezes her chest with one hand and covers her lips with the other as she pretends to moan. "Oh! Oh! Kyle, take me!" Then she cackles wildly. "I can't believe it. I didn't think that bunnyfolk was so kinky. Really, out on the castle walls? Damn that's hot."

Mipa looks around confused. "I still don't understand."

Koblix pats her on the back. He looks flustered. "D-Don't worry about it..."

You rub your temples. "All right. I know. You caught us. We're both adults, so who cares? Me and most of the girls here--Never mind. Can we just focus on the job at hand?"

"Oh?" Stax leans in with a smile. "Were you about to say you've done something like this with most of the girls?"

Suddenly, an agile cat lands directly beside you seemingly from nowhere. It's Snow, and she salutes as she arrives. "I've returned. Ah. Hello there, Kyle. I was just scouting the exterior of a location the goblins here found recently. Is that what you were discussing just then?"

You peer from Stax over to Snow with a sigh. "Yes. That's what we were discussing."
