"No. I'm good," Lauren answers with a slight tone of annoyance. There's no way she's changing her outfit. If she has to be with Charlotte, the least she can do is remind her who the hotter one is.

"Same," Charlotte grunts.

"Excellent," Dr. Wong says before reaching into her desk. She pulls out some handcuffs and tosses them on the desk. "Put these on."

"What!" Lauren and Charlotte exclaim.

"This is a paired experiment. We have to make sure you two are by each other's side at all times. We've found that handcuffs are the best solution," the professor replies as if nothing unusual is happening. "Lauren, you're right-handed, and Charlotte, you're left-handed. Simply handcuff your non-dominant hands together, and you both should be fine."

Lauren picks up the handcuffs and examines them. These aren't dollar store kiddie handcuffs. These are police-grade handcuffs; there's no breaking these. Lauren reluctantly locks a cuff around her left hand and then turns to face Charlotte. The blonde girl is really hesitant at first but then sighs before grabbing and locking the other cuff around her right hand. Dr. Wong walks around and makes sure that both cuffs are secure. Once she is satisfied, she then walks back to her desk and pulls out a pager, handing it to Lauren.

"Occasionally, I will send you messages on this. Things like objectives or places to go," Dr. Wong explains. "Now, any questions?" After both girls shake their heads, Dr. Wong says, "Alright, please exit the building, and the experiment will begin. Good luck."

The two girls get up and exit the room, though awkwardly due to the handcuffs. Once they exit, Dr. Wong starts messaging all the members of her team: the trackers, the recorders, and the... well, interactors. Wong tries to control her excitement. This study should reveal very interesting results. The key to this experiment's success depends on the subjects experiencing enough. Lauren and Charlotte will definitely experience a lot of stress... stress and embarrassment.

"This fucking stinks!" Lauren blurts out as they exit the psychology building. "Why do I have to be paired with you of all people?"

"I'm not happy either, bitch," Charlotte retorts. "I can't wait for this stupid study to be over, so I can get the hell away from you."

"Same."

The two girls glare at each other for a few seconds before Charlotte breaks the silence by asking, "Well, now what do we fucking do?"
