Chapter 7
by The-Drunken-Bandit
Where do you look?
Star Vs The Forces Of Evil
Your strength relies deeply in the technology on board the ship, but the thing is all the technology in the world won’t matter against someone who can use magic.
Magic defies all logic, all reason, and all common sense. So, it would be best if you found something to counter magic early on in your journey. Luckily the star versus the forces of evil dimension holds many talented magic users, though the only problem is the fact that all these magic users come from or are connected in some way to the Butterfly Royal family.
The Butterfly Royal family is the leading matriarchal monarchy in Mewni and holds a tight stranglehold on magic as a whole, so perhaps it would be best to start looking at the Royal family first and pick a possible commander from the ranks of the butterfly Royal family.
This idea comes with many benefits, but also many drawbacks as you’re going to have to deal with the magical high commission and their meddling ways if you recruit anyone from the royal family.
Though that’s a risk, you’re willing to take as you merely pull up three possible candidates.
1. Star Butterfly: Star Butterfly is the royal heir apparent of the Butterfly family. However, Star does not act in a way that befits a Princess as you could vividly remember her being reckless, irresponsible, and extremely childish. However, that’s not to say Star is a bad person, as Star is a rather goofy and fun-loving girl who does everything she can to put a smile on her friend's faces. So it might be nice having her around to help you deal with the complete and total insanity and wackiness that is the cartoon multi-verse.
It also helps to note that Star is an extremely powerful magic user as shown by her wide variety of spells that she often comes up with on the spot. Star is also well-trained hand-to-hand combat and could possibly teach you how to fight hand to hand as well.
Star might not like the idea of conquering worlds, but if you explain the entire situation to her she may just change her mind. Especially if you explain the **** danger that Fuse presents to the entirety of the cartoon multi-verse.
2. Eclipsa butterfly: Despite Eclipsa’s title is the Queen of darkness; she is actually, in fact, a very nice and caring person. Though she is a little impulsive at times which she will readily admit to anyone and will do so with little to no shame. Still, despite Eclipsa’s good nature and kind outlook on life, she is still hated and feared by the majority of Mewni. The reason for this fear is… well… It’s rather stupid, but all of Mewni fears Eclipsa for the sole fact that she left her arranged marriage to be with a monster that loved her dearly and truly.
Though you can’t say, you can blame Eclipsa for looking for love in another place, especially after looking at who her mother arranged to be her husband was as a person. Honestly, if you had met this Shastacan back in the core, you probably would’ve kicked his teeth out, especially after the fact that he banished his wife’s half monster daughter to a horrific school where she was abused both mentally and physically by a cold and unfeeling machine of a head mistress.
Shastacan is lucky that he got eaten by Eclipsa’s new husband Globgor before you got your hands on his pathetic ass. As you quickly shake your head to banish the dark thoughts in your head, you begin to look at what it would take to recruit Eclipsa to your cause to fight planet fusion and what she could bring to the table.
Getting Eclipsa would be rather easy, especially considering the fact that she’s trapped within a crystal prison. It simply requires you just to order your ship to ‘ZAP’ Eclipsa out of her crystal and have the teleporter bring her here to the ship. However, once onboard trying to get Eclipsa to join you may be a little difficult as while Eclipsa is playful and a has a dark sense of humor, she still retains a pretty strong moral code. So, she might have some objections about conquering other worlds, but if you explained why you’re doing all this, she would probably agree to help you with some small conditions.
With that said you have a pretty good idea on what those conditions would be, the first one in the most obvious is that Eclipsa will want to find her daughter, which is an easy task considering you could just pull her from the horrific school she’s trapped in and Zap her here to the ship.
The second and probably the most obvious one is that Eclipsa will want to free her husband, Globgor, from his crystal prison in the monster temple. That request is a little bit more difficult as Globgor is a size shifter and was crystallized in his largest form, meaning while it might be possible to teleport into the ship, it may come with some… 'Side effects' as you don’t really have a good grasp on this technology yet and have no idea what would happen if you teleported someone of that size onboard.
However, if you were to meet both these conditions and successfully recruit Eclipsa to your cause. You would have a skilled ruler and an experienced administrator who is experienced in both formal magic and dark magic. Also, it would be rather fun to have someone quirky like Eclipsa around to help ease the tension and give advice when faced with problems. Though you’re probably going to have to keep an eye on her as Eclipsa likes to go behind people’s backs to do the things she wants. Nothing that would really put you in danger, but it would likely cause some random shenanigans to happen.
3. Young Moon Butterfly: Now here’s someone that you could definitely empathize with as the young princess Moon now turned Queen faces a difficult and almost impossible challenge. As Moon has to face an army of monsters that can’t die by ordinary methods, balance the egos and bickering of her court and has absolutely no idea on what to do.
While the two of you may have different problems, you both share the same stresses of indecision, worry, and cluelessness on what to do. While Moon is not skilled or as proficient in magic as her older version is, she is perhaps the only person who could truly understand the situation you’re in. So, it might be nice to have someone at your side who understands and can help you cope with this insane task that you have taken on.
With that said you could quickly help moon out of her predicament with both your army and your Advanced Technology. As while Toffee may be able to regenerate from any normal wound, you doubt he can survive the experience of getting disintegrated by a laser pistol.
Though the problem is if you do help moon out you will have to deal with a lot of issues from not only her suitors but also from the magical high commission who will look at you with severe suspicion. That’s not even counting Glossaryck, who from what you’ve seen can travel through time to meddle in the affairs of others.
Though with that said you think you might have a way to deal with Glossaryck permanently. As the aliens who constructed this ship had the insight to create and develop a specialized prison system to contain and deal with troublesome individuals like Glossaryck. This process was given the name of Orb-ification, or as you’ve nicknamed it the 'Snow Globe’.
Essentially this process solidifies the hapless victim and freezes them forever in that one moment in time and causes them to relive the same moment over and over and over again. This moment can be replayed over and over and over again with each time erasing the victim's memory so that they are **** to repeat the same moment, again and again, the exact same way with no hope of escape. With this moment being replayed again and again and again in a small contained indestructible bubble whose stand will be modified to fit the prisoner in its containment bubble.
Once this process is over, what you have at the end is essentially a cheap knickknack that wouldn’t look out of place in a snow globe collection. Ergo you’ve nicknamed the process ‘Snow Globe’ for simplification and for fun, of course, you could alter the memory or the moment to change it so that the prisoner would suffer a peaceful and pleasant dream or the worst day of their lives depending on what you want.
