Spencer's Parents

Danielle heard the doorbell ring. She moved to answer the door, where she found who she assumed to be Spencer's parents. The man was about as tall as Spencer, and had gone bald, in addition to having grown a beer belly. He completely dwarfs the scrawny woman next to him, even though she was of average height.

"Hey guys." Dani said.

"Hello. You must be Dani." The woman said.

"Sure am."

"Kathy."

Dani then turned to Spencer's father, who said "Glenn."

"Well, come on in guys."

Danielle led Spencer's parents inside, who saw Amy on the couch. After greeting each other, the four proceeded to talk about their Christmas experience as they waited for Spencer. Once he was done with the bathroom, Spencer entered the living room, where he found his parents waiting.

"Hey guys." Spencer said. His mother moved forward to give him a tight hug, before kissing his cheek.

"How are you dear?"

"Good. How was the trip?"

"It was perfect."

"So, ahh... you've met Dani I guess."

"Sure have." Glenn said.

"You guys want anything?"

"No, we're right. We brought the camera up. I think we can plug it into the TV..."

"Should be able to." Dani interjected. "Want me to take a look at?"

After a shrug, Glenn said "Sure. By the sounds of it you know your way around a camera."

Glenn gave Dani his camera bag and then watched her plug the camera into the TV. The five then sat down and gazed at the photos Glenn and Kathy took. As his parents talked about their trip, Spencer gave Dani and Amy the occasional glance. He could tell that both of them were picturing themselves on a similar trip, cameras in hand. Then again, he wouldn't mind a holiday himself, when the time is right.

Once they're done looking at the photos, Dani looks to her phone, checking the time. "Spence. It might be time to start dinner?"

"Sure."

Kathy raised her eyebrows in surprise. "Wait, is he excited dear?"

"I think so." Glenn said.

"What can I say, I'm a changed man." Spencer quipped.

Kathy looked to Amy. "Change for the better?"

As she nodded, Amy said "Yeah."

"Hmm. Can't wait to find out."
