Spark

After a minute or so of staring at the ceiling, I ask "So, what about lunch?"

"Sounds good to me." Xavier says.

"How about I order, and you can answer the door when it comes?"

"Sounds like a plan."

"Anything in particular you like?"

"I'm not fussed."

Once I find my phone order some Chinese food. After I place the order, Xavier sits up and gathers up his clothes. He then walks off to the shower, so I lay in the bed and think about all the fun I'm going to have with Xavier. This place will be like a holiday house that's just at the edge of town, with a handsome hunk who I hope has plenty of free time. Said hunk eventually comes back in the bedroom to find me daydreaming.

"You uh, gonna get dressed?" Xavier says.

"Ugh... I don't know if I can stand up after that."

Xavier chuckles as I attempt to get on my feet. Somehow, I manage to retain my balance, to which Xavier says "I think you'll be fine my dear."

"Appears so. I'll go wash up."

Now clean and dressed, I head out to the living room, where I find Xavier writing down notes.

"Watcha writing?"

"Ideas for my next piece."

"Yeah?"

"Well, I'll need a model." His eyes dart to me.

"Why do I get a feeling you've already found one?"

"Because the piece would be about you."

"How so?'

"Because the truth is, you like having a naughty little secret, don't you?"

I give him a smile. "That I do."

"Then this will be perfect."

"So its a portrait?"

"It will be, but trust me it'll be abstract enough."

The doorbell rings so Xavier stands up and heads to the door. Part of me wants to read his notes, but the rest wants to see how this will play out. I've known him for less than a day and he's already thinking of capturing me on canvas. I figured I was going to be one of many one-night stands for Xavier, but something about me has sparked his imagination. Now I'll be one of the lucky few to get an insight into exactly how he works.
