Chapter 4
by extreme1000
Can Remy get an appointment, or does life (and ) have other plans?
Someone interrupts Remy's morning
Of course, despite Remy's hope for a quite day before setting up his therapy session, Logan just had to get on the PA system to announce that Sabertooth was attacking.
Nothing's going right for me lately, so why should this morning be any different? He thought, readying himself for a fight as Sabertooth and Wolverine crashed through the wall.
Remy joined the fray by leaping on Sabertooth's back and exploding a card in his face.
Using the surprise of the attack, he managed to separate Victor from Wolverine.
"GOD DAMN IT, LEBEAU." Sabertooth shouted, before he threw Gambit off him, turned around and tackled the Cajun mutant, driving him through yet another wall.
Before the fight could go too far, Remy felt a hand on his shoulder, he turned to see Illyana Rasputin, just before she teleported all three of them away to a secluded part of Utopia.
Sabertooth launched Remy off of him and turned his attention to Magik.
"Alright, girl, You and him are both dead." Sabertooth declared as he lunged at her.
The two fought for a few seconds with Sabertooth getting the upper hand before Victor both heard something that curdled his blood.
"I think you mean ****....and you'd only referring to me." An unfamiliar voice said behind Sabertooth.
Something in that voice made the normally fearless Sabertooth immediately realize that he was now in a hell of a lot of trouble.
Turning around he saw that Gambit now had ash black skin with white hair.
Sabertooth had no idea what he was seeing, but he knew he didn't like it.
"Son of a bitch." Victor said, before his natural instincts kicked in and he snapped back into super villain mode and lunging at him, determined to gut his old enemy once and for all.
Mainly because he wanted to stop whatever the hell was going on.
Instead of dodging him, **** shoved a full deck into Sabertooth's chest and exploded each and every one of them in one intense blast.
Sabertooth wouldn't have been worried, he had a healing factor, after all, but this was the worst pain he'd ever experienced.
It was like his soul itself had been hit by the explosion but there was something more to it, something he couldn't figure out it was like he felt the need to worship this new (old?) Gambit.
Victor laid on the ground and tried to recover, but he soon felt a change began to take hold in him.
He had no clue that it was a change that would make him even more dangerous.
As that happened, Magik found herself face to face with ****.
She showed no fear of ****, but she knew this was a bad sign.
She had first encountered this side of Gambit in Limbo and she knew just how dangerous he was.
Thankfully she'd been an important part in containing and it seemed like Remy LeBeau was back to normal ever since.
As usual, looks had been deceiving.
Magik knew that **** was back.
Illyana prepared herself for a fight...but then Sabertooth grabbed her, allowing **** to hit her with cards.
Just like Sabertooth, Magik felt a change in her.
One that would soon make her subservient to ****.
Just as Dazzler and Northstar had been in Limbo.
She tried to fight the corruption as hard as she could, but her soul was already tainted, so it wasn't too long before she was also under ****'s thrall.
Now both mutants, like Remy, had ash black skin.
With calm expressions on their faces, Sabertooth and Magik looked at him, awaiting his orders.
**** had returned and it was time to make his presence felt.
Can Remy re-emerge or is permenantly in the driver's seat?
