Someone Finds Gambit

"You don't look so hot, Remy, are you OK?" Alison Blaire AKA Dazzler asked as she walked up to him.

"Thanks, Chere." Remy weakly responded with a joking smile on his face.

Normally Remy would mercilessly flirt with Dazzler (who was more than happy to flirt back) whenever their paths crossed, so he could tell that Alison clearly knew by his reaction that something was off with him.

"Rough few weeks?" She asked him, mainly to give him the chance to start talking about recent events in his life.

"Rough is an understatement." He tiredly responded.

"So, why don't we take a walk and you can tell me all about it." She needled.

Remy's emotionally close off nature meant that he didn't want to tell anyone anything, but he also didn't want to push her away, something told him he was gonna need her help, after all Dazzler had some experience with **** in Limbo, so maybe she would be someone he could trust.

"It's a long story and one that would stay between you and me, you sure you wanna here it?" He asked her.

Dazzler nodded in response.

After that Remy opened up to her about almost everything (he made sure to leave out ****'s returning and it's growing presence inside him, wanting to make sure he could trust her before he went any further), as he spoke Alison gave him a sympathetic ear, he knew she suspected more, but he also knew that she wasn't going to push him.

Which was exactly what Remy hoped for.

Once Remy's story was done, Alison offered to take him to someone that she was sure could help.
When Remy asked her for a name, Alison got usually cagey.
"She kinda...controversial, but I think she's the perfect person to help." Alison said, both worrying and intriguing Remy with that recommendation.

Remy pondered her offer for a few moments and then reluctantly agreed to it.

He was **** and Dazzler was offering him help, so he knew that he had to take it.

He hoped whoever they were could free him of this curse.

She told him she'd set the meeting up and it'd probably be tomorrow when she could meet with him.

If all went well, **** would stay hidden and he'd be able to get the help he needed.
