Chapter 27 by SilverSpectre006 SilverSpectre006

What was it?

Some Parent Troubles

"I don't know, what if he can't handle himself either?"

"He's a big boy Silvi, you worry too much."

"Well you don't seem to worry enough, Jin. What if he gets in trouble, what if he gets lost? What if he gets in trouble while he's lost?"

"Pfft, he has his two sisters to help I thought we agreed on this."

"We did, I just... I don't know."

"Tough, because it was your idea to bring him here."

"Well I didn't hear you mention anything better!"

"I didn't think there was any better option, I trust Seline and i trust Xitlaly."

"You're saying I don't trust my own children?"

"I never said tha-"

"I raised our kids just fine when you were away on those trips, if I recall. How couldn't I, you were absent frequently I practically had to raise them myself!"

"Oh lord, give it a rest Silvi. We've already been past this!"

Xitlaly sighed, taking in a deep breath with her head pressed against the door. Nice to hear his voice again, but it was clear they hadn't changed much since she had moved out. She hoped they didn't do this anymore...

Pushing the door open, she walked out barefoot and leaned against the door frame with arms crossed, looking at her parents. Her mother, not in her best looking up with tired blue eyes and slightly messy blonde hair, and her father with mousy brown hair and matching eyes, barrel chested with a wrinkle on his forehead. They always made an odd couple in her eyes.

"Hey mom, hey dad. Nice seeing you guys again."

They turned around and smiled, dad shaking off his annoyance and mom sighing in relief as they walked up the porch and held their daughter tight, well dad mostly.

"Xitlaly, hey! Gosh, you still look the very same as when you first left."

"Haha, wish I could say the same for you. You and mom doing okay?"

"It's nothing dear, just parent stuff that's all." Her mother was quick to reply.

Xitlaly shrugged and sat down at the small round table she had set up on the porch, decent idea of Seline's for outside drinks or just hangouts. It was still morning, as the sun was rising there was a cool breeze in the wind that felt cool on her skin. Skin, surface, plastic whatever. Being a doll never stops being complicated.

"It's okay mom, I heard." Her shoulders dropped as Jin took a seat. "And it's nothing to worry about, you have Seline and I looking after Basil. Pretty sure he's all set."

"I tell you hun, you worry too much."

"And you don't help much dad." She added, much to his surprise. "Maybe show a bit of support rather than shutting her troubles down. I know you mean well, but sometimes you can be rude."

She turned to address her mother, fidgeting nervously a bit.

"And as for you mom, understand that we aren't kids anymore. We grow up, we move on and we make our own lives. You can't treat us like we're little anymore. We don't live with you, but that doesn't mean we don't love you, we'll always have you two close in our hearts for what you two did. Mom. And dad, we get it. You had a lot to do for us, and it wasn't easy. We respect that about you, but it's no fun seeing you two arguing as you visit. Come on now, I can't play peacemaker everytime we're in the same room." She chuckled lightly. Jin rubbed his head as Gina smiled and shook her head.

"We do have you play that role often, don't we sweet pea? We're deeply sorry you had to see us like that." She replied.

"It's uh... cute of you to act that way towards us princess. But we don't want this to be about us, it's been a few years since I last saw you. Since we've last seen you. How have you been doing, anything troubling you around here? How has Seline been, is she well?"

Xitlaly brushed her hair aside and grinned, leaning back on her chair. There was something lewd about making casual talk with her parents about the daughter she went down on in this very table several days prior.

"Why not ask her yourself haha." A woozy Seline answered for her at the door, in a white top and panties.

"Sweety! Where are your clothes?" Their mom bellowed as Jin gave both his girls a warm hug.

"How I've missed my girls so much. Did we miss anything?"

"No, but I might be. Sorry to be that girl, but I need to open up shop before we start losing customers." Xitlaly replied, her father's arm around her neck.

"But LaLa, we just got here. Can't it wait for a bit?"

"Afraid not mom, but I can close early so that we get the rest of the day for ourselves. If Seline is fine by that?"

Seline giggled. "Just take the day off sis, our family is here. Go wake up Basil and bring him downstairs."

"Ehh-"

"Come on now darling, make an exception for us yea?" Jin asked.

Xitlaly smiled nervously while breaking away from his arm and backing up. "Either way, I do need to pick up a few things I left in there. I'll take the day off, just need to make sure everything is locked up and secure. Can I do that at least?"

Gina clicked her tongue. "Fine, but don't be late for breakfast."

She nodded, leaning in to kiss her mom on the cheek. "Be safe LaLa."

"Always." She smiled back before hugging dad as well, rushing back home and upstairs to get dressed. Slamming Basil's door, she shouted "Parent's are here, get up!" before dressing up formally. Once ready, she went back down the stairs before finding Gina shaking her head at the mess in the sink with empty wine bottles around. "We were having fun?"

"I see, a mother's job is never done. Don't be late, oh and LaLa?"

"Hm?"

"Thanks for earlier." They smiled before she turned away and out the front door back to the store. Feels good to have her family back, even if it's just for the day.

What's next?
