Slime battle.

You draw your sword and prepare for combat. Suddenly, a thin tendril of slime bursts forth from the wall and swings down to smash you into the ground. Thankfully, you leap to the side moments before impact, leaving only the sound of a wet slap behind. You pivot, and swing your sword before it can retract, which easily severs the tendril helplessly to the ground.

However, it begins to wriggle back towards the wall to rejoin with its host, joining the once-a-plate-of-fruit which is doing the same. The wall is now entirely coated in this purple goo, and poor Eva has already felt the effect it has. You look to her, but she's busy squirming without her top in tact.

"It's some kind of goo monster!" you shout to the door.

Nyllia's voice responds. "What colour? How large?"

"Uh. Purple, and it's covering the back wall completely."

"Be careful. That sounds like quite a large purple slime. Sometimes, slimes become so large that they can no longer retain a definite shape, and crawl around underground caverns in hopes to find a meal. Purple ones specifically only eat inorganic material, though not rocks and dirt. Material like silk, wool, leather..."

"I-It eats clothes?" Eva mutters under her breath.

"Stay back, Eva." You stare daggers at the beast. "I'll keep you sa--"

"Stay back, Kyle!" Eva shouts, steps forwards, and puts an arm in front of you. "I'll keep you safe."

You look to her covering her chest not with just one arm. The back of her shirt is still in tact, though the ends are frayed like burned fabric. From this distance, you can hear her heaving breaths, and her entire body is vibrating. With fear? That's part of it, but that's not all. You realize suddenly that you need to keep her away from that creature before she throws herself willingly into it.

"Have some dignity, Eva. Do you really want everyone to see you completely exposed? You can't be that much of a pervert."

She groans. "C-Come on. I'm not a pervert. I can't believe you'd shame me like this. Fine... Take this, my Magic Bolt!"

From her hand, she builds up a cycling magical energy enough to release a blast of crackling power towards the wall. The impact reverberates out, and the slime in a circle upon that point splashes onto the ground. However, the hole slowly fills back up once more.

Regular attacks don't seem to do anything. Or they do, but it's not enough because it's so large. What do we do?
