Sleeping Beauty

The knight, the greater threat of the two since you’re invulnerable to the priestess’s fire spells, seemed like the best choice. But you would have to act quickly since she would start to gain health as soon as she was asleep. The first step would be to distract the priestess.
You sneak up to the edge of the fire light. You pause for a moment before throwing your small knife across the clearing where it slammed into a tree with a satisfying thunk. The priestess turned towards the sound and away from you. Taking the opportunity you dash into the light the longer of your two blades extended. You slam, blade first, into the sleeping knights back, momentum carrying you both into the fire as your blade slices into her body. The knights body dissolves as you roll through the flames and a loud ding sounds heralding your level up.

The priestess turns around and screams. You rise to your feet relishing in your new form. Now standing at just under five feet with pitch black skin covering a muscled physique, no one would call you childish now. You cackle and brandish your long blade, now a curved sword, as your throwing knife respawns in your hand. Clawed feet dig into the ground as you advance slowly on the hapless woman. She slowly backs away as you move forward. Then she turns and runs out of the firelight.
And straight into a tree. You watch surprised as she rebounds back into the light falls to the ground ****. You stare, nonplussed. No one had ever run from you before. You wonder for a moment if you should just kill her now for the XP. But, after looking down at her pale features decide that you’ll take your **** in a different way. Bending down you grab her by one leg and drag her into the darkness.
