Shopping with friends

Sarah was out shopping with her friends Olivia, Kayla, and Ellie at a fun out door farmers market over the weekend before school started up again. Walking around, the booths were the usual fruits, clothes, crafts, etc. nothing really caught her eye until she came across a booth selling jewelry. an odd compulsion came over Sarah to check out the booth and it’s assortments of necklace, rings, bracelets, and earrings. “Anything catch your eye young lady?” Sarah looked up at the voice addressing her. An older woman roughly in her 60s was the source of the question. “that ring looks beautiful, how much for that?” A smile crept along the older woman’s face. “Oh, that’s a special one that I have waited for it to claim it’s rightful owner. I will let you take it but you’ll have to purchase another small piece.” Sarah looked up confused, “ alright, I’ll take that cute bracelet then.” the older woman took her cash and then smiled. “Enjoy the ring, it’ll bring you much happiness!”

the comment came off as very odd, but nonetheless she was excited to show off her purchases to her friends. “Hey, you guys ready to go back to the apartment?” the four girls were friends from high school that decided to share an apartment together for college. In unison, they all answered yes or some form of an affirmative.
