Shock

Mia holds me while I sob on the couch,she is also crying. After I while we're able to get a hold of ourselves and get dressed. I have to get home to my mother, she too is grieving right now and she needs my support as much as I need her's.

I wipe the tears from my eyes and blow my nose. " I need to get home my mom needs me to be there." Mia gets concerned. "Are you gonna be alright to drive yourself home?" I think for a moment." I should be, I think so." Mia then suggests that she follow me to my house because she wants to be sure I get home okay.

Tearing up again I hug Mia." Thank you, that would be great." She holds me for a few more minutes before we leave. I compose myself and start my car. Mia follows behind me in her truck. The drive home only takes about fifteen minutes but feels like an eternity. We finally get to my house and Mia and I hug in the driveway. I promise I'll call her later then we hug and she leaves back to her apartment.

I go inside the house and my mother greats me at the door. I rush to her and she holds me tight." I'm sorry Peanut, I'm so sorry."
