She waits it out

"Fine. Just hurry it up asshole," Lara said as she crossed her arms in disapproval.

The cab driver got out of the parked vehicle & went into the pub.

Lara sat there & waited patiently for the time being, occasionally using her phone to pass the time. "Where the hell is he?!" She shouted to herself. "It's been a good 20 minutes & he's still not back! I'm going in there,"

And she did. Lara got out of the cab & stormed into the pub, slamming the door open. She then scanned the area, looking for her cab driver. "There!" She said as she began storming toward him.

"You're drunk!" She shouted, hitting him upside the head.

The cab driver looked back at his attacker. "Oh, it's you. Weren't you gonna wait in the cab?"

"I was, but you've been over twenty minutes!" Lara continued to shout as others began looking at the scene she was causing.

"What are you talking about? I've only been gone for like, two minutes." The cab driver responded, obviously drunk.

Lara shook her head in anger & disbelief. "You said you were coming in to grab a snack to go! Not get drunk to the point you can't even sit up straight!"

"Oh, yeah. I was wasn't I? I guess things changed." He said, chuckling at that.

"This is unbelievable. Just my luck." Lara said, placing her fingers on her own forehead.

The cab driver then took another sip of his drink. "Well Lady, why don't you take a seat? You're already late for your flight aren't you?"

Lara knew she would miss her flight. There was no way she would be able to make it in time, even if they did leave right now.
