She takes you up on your offer

Lindsey grinned and immediately accepted the offer to keep her entertained.

That was, of course, a tall order, but it was also one that you were up to fulfilling.

As you talked you figured out that Lindsey was more curious about you on a personal level than anything else, sure she liked what she saw, but an attractive person wasn't exactly a rare thing in Hollywood.

You decided to dazzle her with your intellect, trying to chat her up about whatever subject interested her.

That tactic had made some headway with her, but it didn't seem like it was going to get you where you wanted to be.

So you decided to let her set the agenda for a bit.

She was clearly a woman whose looks belied quite the intellect.

Something that was gonna make her more of a challenge than normal.

If nothing else, you thrived when it came to a challenge, so you were in your element.

You started off by asking her how she felt about some "issue of the day" stuff.

Turns out, Lindsey was also incredibly opinionated.

In a lot of ways, that was the best possible scenario as it took a lot of the work off of you.

If she wanted to talk, then you were happy to let her.

It was a bit of a challenge to not stare at her cleavage most of the time, but she was enough of an interesting person that you succeeded in that task.

Agreeing with her at every turn and chiming in just enough to keep the conversation going was already working well for you and it was also a great way to kill time while you waited for her to finally want to ditch this place with you.

It took a while, but Lindsey had clearly been charmed by you and that seemed like it was more than enough to get her to agree to go somewhere with you when you felt the time was right.

You paid the tab and you strolled out with Lindsey, ready for the next phase of this night.
