She survives the fall!

Janet took a deep breath. She was actually going to drop three stories into certain danger! She bit her lip to keep herself from screaming. Then, closing her eyes, she stepped off the roof and felt herself falling. Unable to keep her eyes closed she opened them just in time to see the ground fly up to meet her.

She landed, falling to one knee. The tiles under her feet cracked and dust kicked up. Her jeans split where her knee hit. But, she was okay! She breathed a sigh of relief. Then, she looked over. The hostages were staring at her in amazement. Who was this mysterious indestructible woman wearing a tank top, jeans and a mask? Realizing her entrance was louder then she'd intended Janet threw a finger to her lips, gesturing for them to be quiet. Then she looked towards the door, praying the super villains hadn't heard her...
