She stays

It was her fear that had not allowed her to switch places with Mika, and it was that same fear that had led her into this very situation. She had been **** over and over by the fat priest and now she had only two choices. Stay and let **** continue, or run away and try to escape. She knew that Beldan's Templar would be on her heels if she ran, and she knew that they would catch her no matter where she went. The very same fear that had put her in this position wouldn't allow her to leave it.

"I can't! He'll send the Templar and they'll drag me back here. Then I won't have any hope at all. I'll be a criminal and who knows what they would do then!"

Louis put his hands on her shoulders and leaned in close. His eyes were hard and it scared her.

"If you don't come with me now, you might never get the chance again. Please Winlay! You'll be safe where I'll take you!"

She closed her eyes and shook her head.

"Please, just go."

Louis backed away with a look of disgust on his face. She knew he was doing this for her and that now he would be on the run, but she couldn't risk it. As much as she wanted to leave and never come back, she was too afraid. She watched as Louis stormed out of the room and then looked down at Beldan. He was groaning and soon he would wake up. There was still time for her to leave the room at least, but she didn't know where she could go in her current state.
