She speaks.

"I can't do this anymore," Lauren cries out in a whisper, standing up and pulling the collar off. "Dan, I'm so sorry. May has just been tormenting me all day leaving me with this man and making me act like a dog to hide who I really am from him. And she has a video of me that will ruin me if I don't go along with this."

There was dead silence as Lauren stood there crying out of desperation and shaking in fear as to what would come next. Would Mr. Johnson look outside and recognize her? Would May send the video out and ruin her life? Would Dan be as understanding as he seemed to be?

The silence broke as Dan let go of May's hands and spoke. "I knew it. I didn't want to believe it, but I knew there had to be something," Dan said in disgust. "May, what the hell?"

Dan noticed May's phone hanging from her pocket and immediately grabbed it from her. Knowing her passcode he unlocked it and went searching on her phone, he dodged as May tried to grab her phone from him, moving out of her reach.

He found the video, but stared as it automatically began to play. He saw Lauren on her hands and knees bent over being spanked by the man inside. He also so videos of Lauren walking around acting like a dog, even peeing. He immediately deleted everything he could find and then he smashed May's phone for safe keeping.

"Dan, what the hell!" May yelled.

"No, May," Dan said as he stepped in front of Lauren to protect her. "What the hell to you. You went out of your way to humiliate Lauren and even worse blackmailed her to make me think she was enjoying this because of what? Because she used to be mine? Because she spread rumors about me? What reason could you possibly have to go to this length and do something like this? This is low even for you!"

May stood there as she began to cry grabbing Dan by the shirt and pulling him towards her. "Dan, please. I'm sorry."

"No," he said grabbing May's hands and pushing her off of him. "We're done. I can't date someone who is willing to do something like this."

Dan took his jacket off and wrapped it around Lauren's shoulders and guided her away towards his car leaving May stunned in silence, standing on the porch with a broken phone and the leash that had been on Lauren's neck.

As soon as Dan and Lauren were at the car, Lauren broke down in tears, shaking. She couldn't help but rest her head on Dan's shoulder as she cried.

"I-I'm so sorry. I w-was so s-scared. I-I-I...." Lauren struggled to find the words to say.

Dan wrapped his arms around her trying to comfort her. "This wasn't supposed to be like this," Dan whispered. "All I wanted to do was get my stuff from your apartment. And I brought May just to help me move stuff out. Had I known she would do this... Oh god, Lauren. I'm so sorry you went through this. Not even you deserve this."

Lauren continued to cried as she let all of it out. Dan helped her climb into the backseat as she continued to cry as Dan climbed into the driver's seat and began to drive towards his place.
