Before Steve can react, Brya aims the gun at him and fires it, hitting him square in he chest with the light ray. Steve feels dizzy as a bright light blinds him, and, horrified, feels his body and memories changing. When the light dies down, Steve is still in the sofa, but in a very changed body, sleepily looking at Brya.
