The half-elf came up to her. “So thief, what were your intentions of coming to our village?” Evelyn didn’t answer. “Planning to act like one of us so you could do what? Steal our leaves from us? Leave us exposed?” Evelyn shook her head as tears still feel down her face. “No, n-no, I promise I wasn’t, I promise I’m a good girl…” Evelyn attempted to **** back a sob, but failed. The half-elf women looked at her with a look of absolute pity, this woman was utterly pathetic. She sighed. “Uh...Very well, if you truly are a ‘good girl’ then why don’t you prove it to us. Help us around the village for awhile, and once we felt you’ve done enough, you are free to leave.” The half-elf motioned for her ropes to be cut, and then handed Evelyn her fig leaf. “I am Elgwynn, the leader of this small village.” Evelyn nodded and wiped away her tears. “I-it’s nice to meet you Elgwynn.”
