She makes it through the woods safe, but now she has to get back into town…

Marie moves through the woods, carefully and methodically. She knows they are controlled by the mandragora, but she doesn’t trust that it won’t try something with her back turned. She’s surprised her deal worked at all. True to its word, Marie is unaffected by the poison, though the cum-like stench of the plant’s fluids is really getting to her. After a few hours of walking, Marie finally makes it to the edge of the forest. She hides behind a tree, looking upon the small gate into her little town. She never bothered to learn the mind controlling charms, or invisibility spells. She just learned offensive elemental magic. At the time she thought that was what would make her powerful. Now she can’t help but regret her past decisions.

No use dwelling on the past though, for now Marie has to figure out how to get back home, where she can figure out what to do next. Preferably without completely destroying her reputation and being known as the town exhibitionist.
