"I love the porn industry too much" She says. It's a response that takes you by surprise and, in fact, makes no sense to you.
You try to hash it out. But you don't understand what that answer means. "What does that have to do with the tattoo parlor?" you ask.
Missy laughs. "No, not that job! I don't care if I lose the tattoo artist job. I care if I lose my other job." Suddenly it makes sense. But it shocks you.
Missy has another job? And it's in porn? How did you not know this?
"You have a job in the porn industry?" You ask. Missy laughs and nods. She seems just as surprised as you do that you didn't know. Maybe it never came up. Maybe you were just paying too much attention to the insanity happening to your wife to notice. Although it does explain Missy's general sex-crazed demeanor.
"Of course I do. I was doing a tattoo on an actress a few years ago and... well we flirted and then we fucked. And she offered to take me to a shoot. And actually I started working as a makeup artist." She smiles. "And well, I did a few scenes too."
Many, many thoughts fly through your mind. You'd love to see those scenes. But more importantly, Missy having connections in the world of porn could mean something, though you're not sure what.
Still it's hard not to think that Nicole, who stands, still staring at her naked, transformed self in the mirror, could benefit from the influence of a famous porn star. Or maybe a porn star could benefit from the influence of your wife.
So you have to ask. "So, do you know..."
