"Okay, I'll help." Lauren said.

"Really?!" Mindy yelped excitedly. "Oh thank you Lauren!"

"Let me say though, I'm not doing anything embarrassing or degrading or anything." Lauren said, still feeling great ****.

"Lauren, what do you think a beauty pagent is?" Aunt Jancie chided. "This is for college money, you're not going stripping or anything!" She said.

"Don't worry, this will be no problem." Lauren's mother patted her shoulder. "I'm proud of how you're helping."

"Now, this is Mindy's dress." Aunt Janice went over and got a dress on a hanger. a sequinned dress with a short skirt, poofy sleeves ruffled all over it. It looked comically undersized to Lauren.

"There's no way I'm going to fit into that!" Lauren pointed out.

"We can make it work." Aunt Judy said. "We'll make you fit! Now, hurry up and get undressed!"
