She goes to bed early

Lizzie retreated into the safety of her own sleeping bag. Although she had no clothes, at least she could hide the rest of the evening. She played some games on her phone until it was empty, and read a book until supper. They ate some spaghetti and her family brought her her plate, understanding that she would not come out.

She went to bed a lot earlier than normal, but nevertheless fell asleep like a rock. The long trip and the humiliation made her exhausted. Come morning she would have her clothes back and the rest of the vacation would be normal. It was also a good excuse to do some shopping, which she definitely felt like.

The next morning she was the first to awake. She wanted to get out and get her clothes, but instead she woke her brother.

"Hey can you go get my clothes for me?" Lizzie asked him.

He woke slowly.

"...eh? Ah.. sure."

He stood up and put on his slippers. He stepped out into the dew and looked around him while Lizzie watched from her sleeping bag.

"Where did mom put them?" he whispered.

"I don't know. Didn't she hang them on the line?"

"The line is empty. My trousers are also missing. Maybe she took them inside already?"

He walked back into the tent and looked around him. Then he looked at his sister and shrugged.

"Mom" whispered Lizzie to her mother.

Her mother woke even slower.

"... Yeah...?"

"Where's my clothes?"

"...on the line honey."

"No the line is empty."

"..."

"Mom!" Lizzie shouted.

Her mother woke up completely.

"What?"

"My clothes!"

"They're on the line" her mother said.

"No they're not."

Her mother looked confused. She got up and walked out of the tent. There she looked around.

"Shit.." she said. "We've been robbed."

"What?" said Lizzie.

"Our gas tanks are also gone." Her mother came into the tent to wake up her father.

Lizzie could not believe what she was hearing. Her clothes were gone? Now what? Would her mother have her walking around naked again?
