She gets her uniforms and sees her rooms.

Alexa was given a stack of folded and cleaned uniforms with clearly defined rules. She was to wear the slacks, button up, and tie Mondays through Thursdays during the school hours of 7:30-3:00. The blazer was optional except for formal events. Outside of those times, and all-day Fridays, she could wear the school's athletic uniform: A t-shirt (with the school logo) and shorts, sweatpants, or track pants. A hooded sweatshirt and a wind-breaker were provided to be worn with the athletic uniform when the weather was cool. Saturdays and Sundays were the only days she'd be allowed to wear her own personal clothing. Which in her case, of course, was whatever her brother had packed for himself.

Everything was in the school's colors royal of royal blue and gold except for the button up shirt, which was white. And they were all tailored Joshua's specifications. She'd have to get some privacy to try them on to see whether or not that would be a problem. She and Joshua were close to the same size, but not exactly the same size. Joshua was two inches taller and skinny. She was lean too, but much more toned and with feminine curves.

Mr. Thomas, the dean of students, took her into the beautiful brick building that held all of Altera Academy's dorm rooms and up to the fourth floor.

"Here is the fourth floor lounge," it was a room with a TV, a couch, a couple of chairs, and a few bookshelves packed with books an games. She was thrilled to see that there was a treadmill, a weightlifting bench, and a full set of dumbbells set up in the corner.

"And these are the restrooms and showers," he indicated without slowing. Alexa briefly wondered, with trepidation, just how private those showers would be, but there was no time to check now.

"And here is your room," Mr. Thomas unlocked to door for her and handed her the key. "Lunch will be served in the dining hall starting at 11:45, so you have an hour or so to settle in. I believe your roommate has yet to check in, but he should be here before the end of the day."

The room itself was smaller than she thought, but nice. Two beds, each lofted over a desk, and a small dresser next to each. A full-length mirror hung from the door and the far side wall was a large window. Her mind reeled trying to figure out how she would get any privacy once her roommate arrived.

She decides to take advantage of the short time alone she would have, by checking out the showers and trying on her uniforms.
