She forgot to wear them, and is completely oblivious

Sunlight flittered through the open window of Annette's room, slamming directly into the sleeping girls face, refusing to allow her to continue her respite. As if that wasn't enough, the overly-loud "DING, DING DING DING, DONG!" of the monastery's bell rang through her ears, eradicating any plans she may of had to try and head back to sleep. With a stiff yawn, the young girl sat up, allowing the prickly bedsheets that covered her to fall down, revealing her completely nude upper body to the empty room, her nipples hardening in the cool morning air.

Swinging her legs over the side of the bed, and incidentally revealing her matching lack of lower garments, Annette stood with greater energy than one would expect from a newly-awoken student, ready to start the day off right.

"Mercie was right when she told me sleeping nude was a lot more comfortable!" she thought, surprised at just how well-rested she was feeling. It was almost like she- ... Oh no.

Quickly counting back in her mind how many rings the church bell had given. Was it six or seven? She couldn't remember, her brain as befuddled as it was when she was just waking up. If it was seven... she slept in. Oh god, she was going to be late!

Hurriedly wiping her face with a wash cloth to wake up a bit, Annette sprinted for the door, slamming it wide open with all of her might... before meekly closing it again, remembering she had forgotten something...

"I'm not dumb enough to forget these twice..." she thought, quickly slipping on her large, black boots that came with the uniform, unwilling to leave barefoot like she had accidentally done in the past. She could swear they felt a little looser than usual today, but there was no time to wonder if she had the wrong pair or not. Throwing her satchel over her shoulder, Annette once again slammed her door open, sprinting out through the courtyard, weaving through the few students that were up at this hour.

What Annette did not realize, however, is that she had forgotten something much more important than her boots. Any tired onlookers were immediately woken up by the sight of a small, ginger girl wearing nothing but a pair of shoes running past, her body on full display for the entire monastery to see. Some even got a bit more than just a view, the clumsy girl accidentally bumping into them in her rush. This of course meant that her her small, rather cute chest or pale-white thighs were occasionally rubbing against an arm or hand of any "unlucky" person she stumbled into as she ran.

Annette, somehow, was completely unaware of this, merely wondering why everyone seemed so jumpy when she moved past them today. She didn't have time to stop to ask them, even when one or two tried yelling out to her over something. Probably just to tell her to be more careful or something along those lines. In any case, she needed to hurry up before she was late to... something... Wait, what was she rushing to?

Coming to a halt in the middle of the walkway and thinking back on her schedule, Annette tried to think of what exactly it was she was hurrying to again. Dang it, what day was it again? Was today the day when Professor Byleth wanted the class to come to an early sparring session? Or was she in such a rush because she was tasked with removing the weeds from the monastery grounds, a job that's better in the cool morning air? Or... wait, was today the day when she had offered to help Anna with unpacking and selling some of her new wares? Or was it something else?
