Does she see you?
She does not, but you follow her
The girl blows her lover a kiss and gives him a flirty wave before starting jog. You stand quietly, your mind running quickly through options of what to say when she sees you half hidden in the undergrowth, but she jogs by, apparently oblivious to your presence. You stand quietly, watching the young man jog away in the other direction. You take a moment to ensure that they're both out of sight before you step out into the path and begin to stride quickly after the girl.
You've gone about a hundred yards when you turn a corner in the trail and find the girl bending over and tying her shoe. She looks up with a slightly startled expression on her face as she sees you, then smiles and stands.
"Good Morning Mr. Carter," she says with a glittering smile. "Isn't it a beautiful day?"
"It certainly is," you smile. "You have me at a disadvantage though."
"I'm sorry, I'm Charlene Whitford. My friends call me Charly," she says with the same glittering smile and extending a hand. "Welcome to Pink Rose Mr. Carter, and I hope you'll consider me a friend as well as a student."
"So I should call you Charly?" you smile as you take her hand.
"I hope so. After all, I'd hope that it was a friend who was watching me cavort with my lover in the bushes a few minutes ago." She gives a burst of throaty laughter at the surprised expression on your face.
