She cuts the belt!

The Queen Scorpion became a blur, moving towards Lauren at incredible speed.

"What was she talking about? Lauren wondered. THE BELT!

In a moment her expression went from smug satisfaction to utter fear. She reached down desperately to protect her power giving belt. At that same second The Queen Scorpion raced by, ripping it away with a knife slash.

The belt was gone! The key to The Emerald Goddess's powers and appearance! She'd lost it! She'd now loose her powers. More importantly (to her) she'd loose her perfect body! The transformations varied though. Sometimes she slowly reverted. Sometimes it happened unevenly, in fits and starts. Sometimes it happened instantly. She prayed, prayed for a slow transformation so she could get out of here before her true self was revealed!
