She contacts you

"Hey, this is Kimberly. Is this John?" she asks you as she calls you, her brothers hanging around behind her to see how the conversation went.

"Kimberly, nice to hear from you. I assume this means you have good news for me?" you ask her as she giggles and confirms that yes, she is going to be coming to visit you.

It was the second part of what she had to tell you that she wasn't so sure you were going to be happy to hear.

"There's just one thing," she continues, a hand pulling on one of her long blonde locks as she thinks over how she wants to break this news to you, hoping that you would respond positively to it so she could proceed with the contest.

"Yes Kim?" you ask her, sensing her trepidation as she continues to think it over, deciding to just get on with it.

"My brothers are going to be tagging along, just to make sure you don't try to take advantage of me or anything. Is that alright?" she asks you, expecting you to say no and move on to someone else while you process what she said.

"Kimberly, that would be fine," you tell her, putting her mind at ease as she quickly hangs up the call and goes to make the arrangements.

And as for you...well...if her brothers wanted to tag along, you'd just have to figure out a way to get her alone with you.
