She changes and goes for the Elevator

I decided to just change and take the elevator. If I continued up the stairs, I wouldn't have any strength to fight The Queen. I pulled off my disguise, revealing my purple leotard. I then pulled the skirt out of my back and pulled it over my hips. Next came the gloves, slippers, followed by my utility belt. I then tired my hair into my pony tail, wrapped the scarf around my neck and put my mask into place. Look at Queen. Amethyst is coming after you!

I left my disguise and back in the stair well and moved onto the 15th floor. It was dark so I pulled the small flashlight out of my belt so I could see where I was going. There was no one in the hall. You would think that if The Queen was going to set a trap that she would have men lying in wait.

I found my way to the elevator and pressed the button. The light came on and I heard the elevator start to work. If eventually arrived at my floor and the doors slide open. It was empty. I stepped inside and pushed the button for the top floor. The elevator started to move up. When the elevator reached the top floor I expected to the doors to open but instead, they stayed shut. I pushed the open button but there was no response. I tried some of the other floor buttons but none of them worked. This could be good.

A voice came over a loud speaker. It was the Queen. "Well look who decided to show up. I was wondering how long you were going to try and fool me with that cute little disguise of yours." I started to blush, she knew it was me all along. Of course the elevator was a trap! "I'm sure right now you are thinking 'Oh my god, why did I take the elevator, it was an obvious trap!' well I got news for you sweetheart, if you had continued up the stairs you would have tripped another trap. Either way, you were going to be mine. Sleep tight." With that last word, gas started to seep into the room. As I breathed it in, I realized it was knockout gas. I held my breath and tried to cover my face with my scarf but it was too late. I collapsed to the floor as I lost conciousness.
