She Considers Calling In Backup

Tifa opened up her closet. There wasn't anything she could wear that would really cover her neck so well. A few scarves, but that might look weird with what she was wearing. And she couldn't really go around in public marked as a-.... with the choker showing the word ****. A scarf though was better then nothing, and she grabbed her lightest scarf to cover the choker.

Before she left, a thought crossed her mind. If this situation really was as dire as it was starting to seem, maybe she could call in some friends. Vincent would be really helpful here. And maybe she could find a way to reach Cloud? If he wanted to be reached that is.

But, could she really do that? Tifa didn't want to be a ****, but the thought of needing to run for help because someone found a way to use the fact she was a girl against her as...humiliating. She couldn't do that. Besides, once she figured out how to smash the materia, there would be no issues beating up the person responsible until they couldn't even more anymore. Though for some reason, even thinking that made her feel kind of down. Like a minor endorphin loss. It had to be the choker. It had to be trying to discourage it's...wearer from thinking about resisting their mas-...the one who made it. Tifa seethed.

When she walked out the door, it was in no particular direction. If she stood around at home just waiting then the materia would have more opportunity to mess with her. She could think on the move. Was there an expert nearby? Someone who would be able to examine the materia and see if it couldn't be removed? Or at the very least have the co-ordinates drawn out of it.

There was a woman she knew. Dr. Chambaray. She'd been one of Prof. Hojo's scientists, but she defected right before everything went to shit. She lived maybe half an hour away. Tifa, broke into a run. She'd be there in no time.
