Settled

Alexa followed Katie and Nora up the stairs as she carried her bags. “So, this is where you girls can stay. Unless you’d rather have separate rooms,” Nora said as she led the girls to the room near the master at the right end of the hall.

The room had a bunk bed with a built in stairway. It had a white frame with pink bedding. Alexa noticed the sheets were plastic. “I’m fine with sharing,” Alexa said. “Is that alright with you, Katie.”

Katie smiled and wrapped an arm around Alexa. “I can’t wait. It’s going to be like a sleepover,” she said.

“Bedtime is at 10 usually, but I’ll let you girls stay up a little later. Let me know if you need a change. You’ll be alone for a brief period while I go shopping,” Nora said. “Can I trust you on your own or do I need to ask Lucy to come over and watch you?”

“Auntie, please,” Katie said, blushing. “We don’t need a babysitter. We’re all adults here.”

Nora smiled. “Alright, fine, but if you make a mess, it’ll be the last time I leave you alone.”

Katie nodded. “Okay, that’s fair.”

Nora walked away while the girls sat on the bean bag chairs. “So, are you a top or bottom?” Katie asked.

“Huh?” Alexa said.

“Do you want top or bottom?” Katie repeated, gesturing to the bunk.

Alexa blushed realizing what Katie was asking. “Top,” Alexa said, nibbling her bottom lip.

“Interesting,” Katie said with a smirk. “So you’re a top?”

“Shut up,” Alexa giggled.

Katie shrugged her shoulders. “Hey, I was just curious. You’re in luck because I prefer bottom anyways.”

Alexa buried her face in her hands. “That’s so dirty,” Alexa mumbled.

Katie laughed. “You really have a dirty mind, Lexi,” she said. “So… what do you want to do?”

“What are my options?” Alexa asked.

“Well we can always watch TV, but Auntie always keeps parental controls on, so it’d probably only be cartoons. We could pull out my laptop and look around, but again parental controls are on. Or we can just play some games or whatever else you can think of. Just as long as it doesn’t create a mess,” Katie said.
