Setting the trap

A man dressed in all black sits on a counter in the empty bank. Breaking in and neutralizing the guards and alarms before an alert went out had been a challenge, but was also key to the plan. He couldn't have any heroes dropping in before he was ready.

Three weeks ago, an unusual bounty came across the wire. At first, he thought it was a prank, but the sources checked out. Someone wanted Wonder Woman's Star-Spangled Panties. Or at least the uniform bottoms. Nobody was really sure if she wore anything underneath them. In any case, the pay was good enough to buy a small island and retire. The terms were simple: Collect and deliver the panties as well as a video proving that they were in fact Wonder Woman's. In the days and weeks that followed, several of the top "acquisition specialists" had attempted, and failed, to collect on the bounty. This at least took out some of the competition, but also likely meant that Wonder Woman would be aware of the bounty, removing the element of surprise.

Instead of rushing in and getting caught, research was done and a plan was made. Based on a pattern of previous crime reports, this bank was right in the middle of the area that Wonder Woman frequently patrolled during this time and day of the week. Satisfied that everything was in place, the man leaned behind the counter and tripped the silent alarm. Now all that was left to do was wait...

A few minutes later, a female voice from the shadows draws his attention. "You know, when you're robbing a bank, you're supposed to take the money and run, not sit around and wait to get caught." She steps forward into the light.
