Serious Talk

"Bye Zoey, take care... I promise you Finn and I are going to have a lot of fun together... and I'll even tell you about our past sexual experiences, so you can learn quite a bit..." - Faranne replied to Zoey, to tease Finn as much as his girlfriend was, before turning his attention to him. Faranne had the intention of talking more with Finn, and doing what Zoey asked her to do, but she also felt like he should talk with his girlfriend instead of her, so she tried expressing that idea, even though Finn looked brainless.

"Okay Finn, how are you feeling?... I never thought I would see Zoey like that... she seems very open to the idea of sharing you, but I think she actually needs some love and attention..." - Faranne asked, with a joyful, but playfully suggestive smile, as she tried to entice Finn to talk more to Zoey. And even though Finn just wanted to end this embarrassing conversation, after witnessing his girlfriend and Faranne talk about sharing him, he felt like he needed to talk more with her, and let Faranne know some of his feelings.

"I don't know... I'll talk to her later, I'm sure she understands... but now I just want to talk about you..." - Finn replied timidly, as he didn't know how to talk about what he wanted with Faranne. He wanted to stop the jokes, so they could have a meaningful conversation for once, but since he wasn't too clear with his words, Faranne continued taking the situation lightly.

"Talk about me? What is there to be said about me?... I'm not that interesting... unless by talking you mean sex, which in that case..." - Faranne asked flirtatiously, since she still felt like joking around with Finn, who didn't want that anymore. But even though he was nervous to talk with Faranne, Finn still chose to use a direct approach, to explicitly tell her what he wanted, and hopefully get to spend a lot of time, and talk to her tonight.

"No, I mean like actual talk... in a serious, no sex jokes type of conversation... I'm worried about you..." - Finn replied, showing a bit of a more mature behavior, that caught Faranne off guard, but also let her know he was trying to say something important to her.

"Why are you worried about me?? If anything I should be the one worried about you... which I am, but, you know..." - Faranne asked curiously, as she started paying attention to Finn, and listened to what he had to say to her. And while he knew it would be very awkward to talk about it, Finn needed to talk about Faranne's trust issues, and other aspects of her attitude she had been showing recently. Even though he wasn't too good at talking about these things, and he didn't know how to phrase it, Finn still tried to have this conversation with Faranne, which didn't seem too difficult, because it seemed like she was also a bit awkward about it.

"Yes, exactly... I'm worried that you worry too much about me... you are being very skeptical of everyone, and you can't even trust someone to train me... sure, I did have sex with Tsuri... but I think I could really learn a lot from her, or Haze, or... well, you get what I'm saying..." - Finn tried to explain, while stumbling over his own words, and getting a bit shy to talk about certain topics, but achieving at expressing his concern to Faranne, who now stopped joking, and seemed to start taking the situation seriously, or at least try to talk about it with Finn.

"But Finn, sweetheart... you know why I get like that... I care too much about you and the others, I can't just trust everyone I meet immediately... I'm not as nice as you... And I don't think I will ever change, I'm just being cautious..." - Faranne replied, with a warm, endearing smile, but also a bit of an insecure tone, as she understood what Finn was telling her, but didn't think it was possible to give him a response that would calm him down. Even though Finn found Faranne's sweet voice irresistible, he still tried to solve her problem, by trying to distract her from her worries, instead of changing who she was.

"No, I understand... it’s okay that you are like that, and I appreciate it... Without that mentality you have I don't think I would be here... But you are thinking about it too much, you keep stressing about other people's business..." - Finn persisted, slowly becoming more assertive, as he was getting close to tell Faranne what he needed to say. But before being able to continue explaining to her, Finn was interrupted by Faranne, who seemed genuinely hurt by his view of her, even though she didn't hear all of it.

"You are saying that I shouldn't worry about you?... Is that what you really mean??... because you know I will never stop caring about you... And it is my duty as your mentor to always have my best interests for you... even when that means being overprotective, or getting so worried about everything..." - Faranne asked anxiously, after getting self conscious, and even slightly upset at Finn, since she believed he wasn't appreciating her for being there for him, and helping him as his friend, and maybe even a motherly figure. But as Finn began to panic, after seeing how his approach wasn't working, and was even making Faranne sad, he decided to be much more direct. So to prevent her from crying, or hating him, Finn decided to tell Faranne exactly what he had in mind, instead of getting awkward, and trying to apologize, which he knew would only make things worse.

"No, it’s not that Faranne... you don't need to change that... You just need to loosen up a little... try to stop worrying about all of that stuff for a while... I'm saying that you need to clear your mind for at least one night, and you will see how things are much better when you stop stressing for a moment..." - Finn replied, trying not to hurt Faranne's feelings any further, or preventing to get more nervous. But even though Finn didn't sound to confident of himself with his response, Faranne could tell he was being honest with her, and she was much more pleased to hear Finn tell her the truth, and even proud of him, for being able to express himself with relative ease.

"Hmmm, yes, you are right... I do think I'm overthinking... I've spent several days without sleep trying to figure out who all of these new girls are.... But maybe it is time for me to relax, even though I don't know how... I get what you are saying Finn, and I appreciate it... but it will probably take me some time to relax on my own, or find something to distract myself..." - Faranne said, in a thoughtful moment, as she considered her own feelings, that she had been ignoring for a while, and felt grateful for having Finn support her. Faranne knew he was just trying to help her, and even though she was hopeful from Finn's words, she didn't believe there was a way for her to leave her worries behind. But since Finn noticed Faranne was starting to think too much about his idea, he decided to tell her more about what he planned for her, that way she wouldn't get too worried.

"No, you can do that tonight... let me take you on a date, just like I did with Zoey... That way we can both relax, you can finally stop worrying about the monster girls... and who knows, maybe we can forget about all of our problems, just for one night..." - Finn continued saying, with a charming, enthusiastic, promising voice, that certainly made Faranne very excited, but even though she smiled at Finn's proposition, she wasn't sure if it was such a good idea.

"Oh my... Finn... you know I would love that... and I'm extremely flattered but... I think you should maybe use all of that motivation to take your actual girlfriend on a date... you know, Zoey, she seems like she needs you right now... She deserves you more than you, and she clearly could use a relaxing night like the one you have in mind... You don't need to worry about me, I'm fine..." - Faranne immediately turned down Finn's offer, not because she didn't want to go on a date with him, but because she didn't feel like she deserved it. But since Finn wasn't going to accept rejection, and since it was obvious Faranne really wanted to spend the night with him, he insisted on taking her out on a date.

"No, you are not... and you are the one that deserves this the most... I already took Zoey on a date, and I would do it again soon... but honestly, right now I care about you more... With everything you have done in these past days you need to take a break... So please Faranne, let me take you out on a date... It will be simple, short, and I promise you won't regret it... just accept this, you need it more than Zoey..." - Finn replied, with more excitement, a polite, yet provocative smile, and an overall charm, that made Faranne instantly blush, and get more shy than ever. She couldn't believe Finn was willing to do this for her, so even though it was clear he actually meant all of his words, Faranne still tried to reason with him, or find out if he wasn't just delirious from his exhaustion.

"Are you sure?? I mean, Zoey is your girlfriend... I feel like I would be stealing you from her... a-and I don't think I'm half as important as her... just, please, take her out on a date instead of me... I will find another way to relax or something... I think..." - Faranne asked in nervous disbelief, as she was more than flattered, and almost very embarrassed to hear Finn's idea, who didn't waste time to reassure he was being serious, and that he did want to spend the night with her.

"Yes Faranne, I want to be with you tonight!... I know Zoey is fine with this, she even told me on our previous date... I know she wouldn't mind if I dated other girls or even spent more time with you... So yes I'm sure, you mean a lot to me, and I don't like seeing you sad or worried like you are lately... I just want to see you happy so I thought maybe if we shared another special night it could cheer you up a bit..." - Finn replied cheerfully, determined to convince Faranne, even though she was refusing. He knew she was just turning him down because of her nervousness, but now that he was very clearly asking her out on a date, Faranne couldn't say no to him anymore. She was still very insecure of herself, and believed that Zoey deserved Finn's love and attention more than her, but after having the opportunity of spending another one of those wonderful nights with him, Faranne wasn't afraid anymore, and decided to take it.

"Finn... You are going to make me cry...you don't know how much that warms my heart... But okay, I will accept your date... thank you for being so sweet and giving me this chance... Although you shouldn't ignore your girlfriend, remember that Zoey is still the one for you..." - Faranne whispered to Finn, as he was too overwhelmed by his affection, that she had to talk to him at the edge of tears. But after Faranne accepted Finn's date, he hugged her, to further reassure his love for her, and also keep himself from crying of joy.

Finn couldn't be more happy, excited, and even confident to hear Faranne was down to spend another night with him, but he tried to hide it, so he would seem more mature than he is. But while Finn got a bit emotional too, during their hug, Faranne felt more loved than ever, which caused her insecurities to go away, and even start forgetting about her problems already. And after Finn got to play the charming gentleman, he was turning more into Faranne's sweet boy, as she regained her confidence, and her teasing attitude, since she was very excited to go out on a date with Finn.

"But alright, you can worry about Zoey later... You want to have another special night with me... Tonight will be all about us, right?... then let's have some fun!" - Faranne exclaimed with joy, after agreeing on sharing what would hopefully be a very romantic, intimate, sexually charged, and memorable night with Finn. Both of them were already forgetting about everyone else, as they started focusing on having the most special night they could have. And since the sun was already setting, Faranne and Finn had to take advantage of the time they had, to prepare the best date they could have tonight...
