Selina Kyle

“I don't know.” You ask the redhead while your attention is fully riveted again on the seductive backside of raven haired beauty. Yes, Selina is far more physically attractive than Mary, but as you watch Kyle walk away you feel like you have made a terrible mistake. Of course you don't believe in such silly notions as “love at first sight” or having a “perfect soulmate”, yet your emotions are most vexed.

“David. David. Dr. Anderson!” Mary nearly yells to get your attention after saying your name several times.

Finally, you turn your sight to your original date. Your silent look speaks volumes. Mary just shakes her head knowing your mind and heart have no focus for her. Turning around she walks away, going back down the hall. You feel terrible but have no words to say. The elevator door opens and the emerald eyed stranger gives way to Mary.

“I'll take the next one.” Kyle cloy states and backs away.

As the door closes the mysterious woman looks back at you. “I guess I should apologize.” She begins to walk slowly towards you, her shapely hips ever so gently swaying. “I really made a mess of your birthday.”

“You know it's my birthday?” You ask.

“I always do recon on my mark before I go to work.” The black haired woman directly admits. “Again, its business.”

“So, you're still trying to get me to take you surreptitiously to the Athenaeum?”

“Oh, I don't try.” The buxom beauty smiles.

“I'm no expert, but when you try to seduce someone, isn't it wise not to mention what you're up to?”

“Usually.” Kyle stops in front of you. “But I like a challenge and it's much more fun getting away with the crime when the police know you're coming."

“Are you trying stealing something?” You hate to admit it, but you're greatly enjoying this banter.

“Ahh huh.” She nods in full agreement taking a step closer, your bodies almost touching.

“So your employer is of questionable repute?” You ask.

“Oh, no.” She gently shakes her head in disagreement. “They're above board.”

“And you?”

A very devilish grins runs across her full red lips. “If you wanted to play it safe, you've chosen the wrong girl this evening.” Kyle holds up your cell phone in her hand. How she got it out of your jacket you haven't a clue. “No distractions tonight.” She purrs and shuts it fully off before returning it to your pocket. “So, Dr. Anderson, what's the price I have to pay to get into the Athenaeum?”
