Miles sighed, and rummaged through his bedside drawer for the subway pass that had been gathering dust ever since he'd gotten his powers.

It took him less than an hour to reach the Parker household, but the sun was halfway above the horizon before he snuck into the garden. No point in waking May-she was already asleep, and Miles didn't intend to hang around any longer than he had to. Walking over to the small, inconspicuous, shed at the end of the garden, he simply placed his hand against the lock.

Streaks of bluish light instantly crisscrossed the shed, forming the distinctive spider shape that adorned Peter's own outfit, before sliding open with a smooth hiss. Miles stepped into the elevator, smiling. He'd never get tired of that particular feature.

Descending, Miles scanned every inch of the Spider Cave, his eyes resting on each particular gadget or vehicle that was in sight. It must have taken this Peter years and years to build this collection up from nothing.

He just hoped there was something in here that could help him.
