Scrafty Troubles

"I wouldn't get so comfortable if I were you." A male voice speaks out startling the three of you. Out of the darkness comes a Scrafty about the same height as you, if you don't count his Mohawk. With him are four Scraggy. His eyes sport a hazel color, but that thought doesn't comfort you. “Well, well, well. A Raichu, a Buneary,and a Pachirisu. We were about to go out and look for food, but now we won't need to." He says menacingly and the others nod in response.

You move to be in front of your sister as you say, “Hey wait a minute! We're not one of them." He just chuckles before saying, “We can clearly tell, but no matter, I've preferred fresh ones anyhow."

That statement causes your anger to rise. “I don't know if you noticed, but there are others like us who are being attacked by those monsters! You can't go off eating the ones who're still sane!" You exclaimed while releasing sparks from your cheeks. The Scrafty shakes his head before saying, “Wake up kid! It's only a matter of time before something comes around and gets y'all.”

Sparks are forming along your pouches on your cheeks after that. It wasn’t bad enough there are those who prey on other Pokemon beforehand, this guy’s not only continuing his predatory streak, he’s actively using this pandemic as an excuse?! “It's a shame that little girl you have with you will fall to this, or worse."

That was your breaking point. You let out a terrifying cry and unleash a thunderbolt towards him. While he dodged out of the way, your attack still took out one of his teammates. “I've always liked it when they fight. Get em boys!" The Scraggy then charged at them. “Kate stay back! Rachael let's go!" The two of you then ran towards them.

You started things off with a quick attack at the one closest to you. One Scraggy attacks Rachael with his Low Kick move, but she jumps up into the air and lands a hi-jump kick on his head, knocking him out flat. You used Thundershock to knock one down in an electric heap, the other took the opportunity and headbutts you. You staggered a bit, but it wasn't enough to stop you from swinging around and using Iron Tail. The Scraggy had no time to react as he was sent spinning to the ground, ****.

You took a moment to breathe before losing it all of the sudden from the Scrafty using Take-Down. Rachael sees this and goes in for the tackle, but he sidesteps it and counters with a Faint Attack, knocking her down as well. “Hey! Leave her alone." You cry out as you spring up and come after him, arms out. Rachael got up and saw that the remaining two Scraggy are standing in her way, preventing her from helping you. Both you and the Scrafty grab each other's shoulders as you both try to overpower the other. Then...
