Adam followed behind Victoria, looking forward to spending some time with the beautiful blonde, even if it happened to be during studying. "No, but the others usually leave it to the last minute. It's usually Gavin and I who finish the day of. I guess it's just good to see another person like us." She said

"Well, to be honest, the only reason I'm trying to get it done now isn't out of some inbred need to finish my homework on time, rather I really just don't want to do anything once I get home." Adam said honestly, hoping that his statement didn't turn Victoria off too much. The two of them reached the library, and looked for a table to sit at just the two of them. They found a table near the back of the library and made their way towards it. Behind them sat a group of four girls, who could have passed as super models if not for them being in a high school. Victoria gave them a glance then sat on the side of the table with her back towards the girls. It was obvious that there was bad blood between the girls, as the looks directed at Victoria's back wouldn't have been categorized as nice. When they moved their attention away from Victoria to see who her friend was, the saw him. It was obvious at their first facial expression that they had misconstrued the relationship that Adam and Victoria had, but there wasn't really a way to let them know with the fact that Victoria very well didn't like them.

Adam moved his gaze away from the table of deathly stares and good looks and back to the reason he was here, Victoria. "What was that all about?" He asked her.

"So I guess you saw that little exchange, huh? Those four have been a constant thorn in my side since before high school, constantly teasing me about not having a boyfriend. When I finally did get one, and they found out about it, I almost missed the constant teasing. Now that I'm single again though, I try to find places where they aren't, as I'm sure you could understand."

"Oh definitely." Adam said as his gaze was captured by the four beauties again, who it seemed were unbuttoning each others top buttons of their shirts and looking at him suggestively. "You didn't happen to observe them being jealous or anything did you?" Adam said before swallowing and loosening up the collar of his t shirt, How could they even where dress shirts in this heat? He thought.

"Jealousy? No, why? Are they doing things behind my back?!" Victoria said as she was about to turn around to the scene of two pairs of girls openly making out in plain sight.

"Victoria!" He said, a little louder than he had planned causing the girls to break apart in a start. "Forget them, we should really get our homework done, we are running out of time here." Adam said as convincingly as he could. He breathed a sigh of relief as Victoria turned back to face him.

"You're right of course. They always used to say how much more beautiful they were than me, and that's why I haven't had as many girlfriends. That's not true, is it?" She asked him looking into his eyes.

"That's not true at all. You are plenty beautiful, and to me, you're more beautiful than all four of them combined. Because to me beauty, isn't just looks, it's smarts too, and you've got the whole package." He said jokingly, but he saw Victoria's reaction, and immediately broke off in awkward silence. She looked at him all wide eyed and surprised with a tinge of pink on her cheeks. "Victoria, look, obviously I said too much. We did just meet and all-"

"First of all, to my friends and loved ones it's Vicky, and second of all, that's one of the nicest things that anyone has ever said to me. Thank you Adam." She said sincerely as she put her hand on his. For the rest of the time in the library, Adam tried to finish what homework he could with Vicky's help, all while continuing to deny the advances of the girls. Their advances ranged from opening their buttons, to making out, to subtly nodding towards the washrooms with a promise of the loss of his virginity. To all these things though, he said no, though his dick would've said yes. If he was to make a good impression with the girls in his new friend circle, these sacrifices would have to be made for a much better hopeful future gain.
