The thought had occurred to you that you had yet to see the one that calls herself a "legit boss" with all the Divas that had come straggling in.

That all changed, though, when she showed up at your desk a little while later, during what had proven to be a down period in your traffic.

This was all good news to you, since it figured to give you a chance to chat her up for a little bit and gauge what your chances of getting anywhere with her might be.

"Miss...Vernado, is it?" you ask her as you check your notes, wanting to make sure you got her name right as she officially checked in.

"Yup. First name Mercedes. But if it'll make you more comfortable, you can always call me Sasha. Or "legit boss," she teases you as she plops down a wad of cash to pay for her room, not even thinking twice about it.

"Let me get those bags Mercedes," you tell her as you come around the desk, really getting a look at her, in the tight jeans and faded t-shirt, for the first time.
