Sarah

The VP rises to greet me. We shake hands and she says, "Hello. I'm Sarah Osbourne, the vice principal. Welcome to Centerville."

Sarah is a 40-something woman with a round, pretty face and a high forehead. Her eyes twinkle and she has the look of someone who can be funny and a little sarcastic. She has straight brown hair that is cut at shoulder length; no bangs but instead tucks her hair behind her ear. She's about my height and has full, though not too large, breasts. Today Sarah is wearing a grey cotton dress that stops mid-calf. It hugs her body nicely. I look down, and see that she's wearing sensible flat shoes.

"Hello, Sarah," I say. "I'm James. I'm very happy to be here and I'm sure it will be a pleasure working together."

"Thank you," she says. "What are your plans for today? Have you had the tour yet?"

"No tour yet," I reply. "I would like to save that for now. Instead, if you aren't busy, I would like to jump right in and go over the staffing assignments and specialties."

I catch Sarah giving a look to Sherry. I wonder what that's about.

"Give me fifteen minutes," she says. "Classes are about to start and I have a couple of instructions to deliver."

"Sounds fine, Sarah. Meet me in my office."

I go to the office and log into the computer. I pull up the staff directory for the school and check my email. Soon, Sarah knocks and enters.
