{Charlotte's POV}

Charlotte licks her lips in anticipation. The ritual is about to commence. Through blood and manipulation, Charlotte has made Lauren and Nicole her thralls - loyal to her, and not Jessica. Charlotte is thankful to Jessica for the gift; for immortality, but resents her unimaginative ambitions. Feed, fuck, feeding, rinse, repeat in some dinky mansion for all eternity? No thank you Charlotte thinks. We are goddesses among men. This planet should be ours , not theirs.

Lauren and Nicole have prepared the scene admirably, Charlotte thinks, smiling. .They even found a perfect location. A wealthy businessman owns (owned Charlotte thinks) the house they are using, his basement containing a jacuzzi embedded in the floor that they'll use. Stonework everywhere, all very classy Charlotte laughs.

Her stomach rumbles. She let's her robe fall off of her shoulders, revealing her perfect vampiric body. Pale, blemish-free skin. Long, graceful legs. Smoky eyes. Firm breasts. And a pair of fangs that mean business tonight. Charlotte would be lying if she didn't feel a bit of vanity, a pride at the desirous looks Nicole and Lauren were sending her way. I will reward them later for their loyalty.

Before Charlotte, thirteen young women kneel, their hands bound behind their backs, gags in their mouths. They are naked, fear in their eyes. Offerings for the ritual.

Charlotte goes to the first, pulling the gag from her mouth. The girl screams.

"Shut up" Charlotte commands exasperatedly, and the girl falls silent. "Are you a virgin?" Charlotte asks, eyebrow raised. The spell was very specific. Charlotte's tone makes it impossible for the girl to dissemble.

"N...No" the girl answers, confused.

"Too bad" Charlotte sighs. She snaps, and Lauren and Nicole step forward to drag the girl away. I need seven...we'll see how well Lauren and Nicole really did. After interrogating each of the thirteen girls, Charlotte has eight true virgins on her hands. Not bad, ladies, not bad... she thinks. Lauren leads the superfluous eighth virgin away, a snack for later Charlotte thinks.

"Ladies...chins up...you are about to take part in a glorious--" Charlotte begins, and then chuckles and stops herself. The grandiloquent posing is more Jessica's style. Why bother, they'll be drained before they know it?

Charlotte begins to intone the Latin words from the book. She gains confidence as she goes, she can feel the power of the verses. The chant complete, she takes a knife from Nicole, and draws it across her palm. Blood begins to pour from the cut, pitter pattering to the stone floor. She makes a fist, dripping blood into the first kneeling girl's mouth, as Lauren stands behind her, holding the girl's head back and mouth open. Charlotte works her way down the line, dripping blood into each virgin's mouth.

Charlotte says the next part of the Latin spell, now feeling power coursing through her. She has goosebumps, and could swear a static electricity charges the air. Speaking done, she grabs the first girl in the line, dragging her to her feet. "Thank you for your sacrifice" she says sarcastically, biting into the girl's throat. The girl shrieks, struggling, but Charlotte's grip is too strong for her. She begins to calm as Charlotte feeds more. Charlotte viciously tears into her neck, and then throws her to the floor, her neck over the edge of the sunken Jacuzzi. Blood spurts from her arteries, coating the bottom of the Jacuzzi. One by one, Charlotte repeats this horrific procedure: bite, taste, drain.

Finally, all seven girls lay on the floor, their blood draining into the Jacuzzi, now filled with about eight gallons of human blood. Charlotte steps into the pool, feeling the warm blood coating her body, and prepares for the final step. Taking the blade once more, she slits both of her wrists, her vampiric blood mixing with the human blood in the Jacuzzi. She lies back, submerging herself in the bloody mixture. She begins to lose consciousness as the blood drains from her, and blackness closes in around her.

Charlotte's eyes snap open. She looks at her wrists: healed. There is some residual blood in the Jacuzzi, coating the floor and walls, but the vast majority is gone. Did I actually absorb it? Charlotte wonders, realizing she must have. She feels a power in her veins like never before. Lauren and Nicole peer at her over the lip of the pool. I guess they removed the bodies.

"How long was I out?" Charlotte asks.

"About an hour" Nicole answers, relief evident in her face.

"What happened to all the blood?" Charlotte says.

"I think your body....absorbed it" Lauren says incredulously. "Do you feel different?"

"Oh yes, ladies. Very different." Charlotte says, climbing out of the Jacuzzi to stand before the women. "Bring me one of the spares" she says coldly. Lauren disappears into another room, returning dragging one of the bound women behind her. The woman is gagged and confused. She sees the blood-covered Jacuzzi and screams into her gag, twisting in Lauren's grip.

Let's see how this turned out.

Charlotte's fangs extend, and she hisses at the terrified girl. She pricks her index finger on a fang, and a droplet of blood appears. Charlotte rips away the girl's gag, and presses the blood drop to the girl's lips, pushing it inside her mouth. Suddenly, the girl stops struggling, and stands calmly before Charlotte.

"Lauren, please undo her bindings" Charlotte instructs. Lauren unties the girl's hands, and they fall to her sides. Charlotte stares intently into the girl's eyes. Dead silence fills the basement as Lauren and Nicole watch in suspense. A wordless conversation appears to take place between Charlotte and the human.

Charlotte's eyes narrow. "Do it" she whispers dispassionately. The girl walks to the Jacuzzi, bending to pick up the knife. Lauren and Nicole flash fearful looks at Charlotte, who waves them silent. The girl holds the knife aloft, pointing down, and in one quick stroke, plunges it into her stomach. She falls into the empty Jacuzzi, and Lauren and Nicole gasp in complete shock.

Excellent Charlotte thinks. It only took one drop.

Charlotte beckons Lauren and Nicole forward, gesturing for them to kneel. They kneel before her, and Charlotte bites into each of her wrists, holding them out to her human servants. The humans grab her wrists and begin to eagerly drink her blood. Charlotte throws her head back, eyes closed, and enjoys the sensation of being fed on. Lauren and Nicole gaze up at her with the purest of devotion.

I am a Goddess Charlotte thinks, energy pulsing through her veins. They will bow before me. All of them.
