Chapter 18 by CMW CMW

More on the punishment or time to move on?

Samantha POV for a moment

Author's note.

This scene is going to be after the girl have finished there mannequin punishment. Samantha invites Samuel to dinner. I will be returning to there POV in a branch. This is purely for an additional context of the former players. As always comments fuel my creativity! I especially love to hear what you have enjoyed and what you want more of.

Samantha's POV

I heard the doorbell ring. I hurried to open it. Not out of any need. I just genuinely didn't want to leave Samuel waiting. Opening the door, Samuel was standing there, is normal smile but he was a bit more dressed up then when he taught class. He had a vest and a coat. Next to him was a young short girl, Lisa Wong. She was just 21 years old, still in college and the latest winner of the game. #8 in total. I was 4th myself.

"I hope you didn't mind me bringing Lisa," he said with a mild bow.

"Of course not, anyone you bring is family after all," I said inviting them both in.

I served dinner, spaghetti and meatballs, all home made. I made enough for the week, so sharing with Lisa was hardly an issue.

"Would you like some wine Lisa?" I asked.

She nodded and after pouring hers and Samuel's I sat down.

"Such a nice evening to spend with old and new friends," I said.

"Indeed," Lisa said, sipping her wine. Her facial expression told me she had never had any before.

"Thank you for inviting me," Samuel said. "So did you enjoy the girls punishment?"

I smiled. Tessa and Kat. It was fun. I wasn't one to actively participate in Samuel's games with new girls but when a dear friend asked me for a favor. I wasn't one to say no. "Tessa reminds me a bit of myself. In the beginning at least. She seems determined not to break though. That is a fatal flaw."

Lisa was taking a break from dinner to set up a chess set that fit in her pocket. I believe her first gift from Samuel. "That which does not bend only breaks faster," Lisa said.

"True, but it hasn't been even a month yet, she may be a fast learner," Samuel said as he took a bite of food and made a move on the chest board.

For a moment I was lost in the speed of there game. They moved faster than I could visible say what moves they made. Within a minute the first game was over. Samuel's win. "Not bad," he said.

Lisa studied the board a moment before resetting it. "I have looked over her moves from Samuel's notes. She is far too reactive. She has not yet developed any proactive strategies. She does not seem cut out for this."

"I agree, but Samuel wouldn't have picked her if he didn't see potential in her," I said.

"Far too kind," Samuel said. "But I take your praise with pride. Also dinner is splendid, I would be hard pressed to find a better meal in the entire town."

I blushed. "A normal chef would not understand the full potential someone that plays your game would."

He laughed for a moment causing his second game with Lisa to slow down.

"Checkmate," Lisa said.

"Well played!" Samuel said.

Lisa was the only one of the winners that could beat Samuel in chest more than 50% of the time. I would struggle to keep a 10% rate against him. I was proud of her.

"What about Katherine," he asked.

"No chance," I said. "Unsurprisingly since you didn't pick her. She was in tears from just a little modeling. I doubt she will resist you with any notable effort beyond the end of the month."

"I agree, but," Lisa paused. "The two of them make a strong team if they can balance their skills. If Tessa learned from Katherine and Katherine leaned on Tessa for support. I think they would win. If not though, Katherine will likely drag Tessa with her."

"Yeah, that's what I think too," Samuel said looking into the air. "But it is so nice to be surprised. I am holding out on the chance they could win. After all, if even one of them does. We would have enough winners to start an all winner baseball team."

"I am not very good at baseball," Lisa said. "Check."

"Oh you tricky little thing, let's see. Here. Check," he said.

I just smiled looking at them. Kat and Tessa didn't know how lucky they were. They may not realize it now. But even losers are supported by Samuel. They may change. They may no longer be recognizable but they were happy. Not one of the current girls that have won or lost the game has ever been unhappy. I sipped my wine. Yeah, I really hoped they made it. It would be fun to have a winner baseball team.

"Checkmate," Lisa said.

"Little rascal," he said. "Will you won the bet of 3 for tonight. Come here."

Lisa went to Samuel and he wrapped his arm around her and she leaned to embrace him.

"Your welcome to join as well," he said.

I happily did.

After dinner, we made our way to the lounge.

"So Samantha, no husband?" Lisa asked.

"No, it is hard to find someone that can meet my standards, but I have some occasional fun," I replied. Plus it wasn't like I needed anything specific to be happy. Even these moments with Samuel. I treasured them but I wouldn't be the strong women I proved myself to be if I needed them. And that made these moments all the more special.

Samuel busted out the second most important book in his life. A yearbook. Opening it up showed all the girls he had changed. In the beginning he had a list. Glancing at the bottom of it. I saw it was at 137. 137 lucky girls even if they lost. Next to that was 8. With Lisa being the latest names. The 8 winners. The yearbook showed all the girls and how they were before the change and how they were after. It was nice to look back on the road. I hadn't met all 137 but I told Samuel to let them know that they would all get a 20% discount in my store.

"Did you know Lisa. Samantha here," he said while rubbing my picture at the end of the book, "was the first girl I offered one of my spare magic notebooks."

"You did? It is hard imagining that," she said.

"Is it really? You know Samantha, and you know yourself. You think I wouldn't trust you with it?" he asked.

She stared up for a moment. "You make a good argument. Actually come to think of it is likely we don't know your real name. Plus manipulating a friend would be wrong. I stand corrected."

He chuckled. "If you don't know my name, would it bother you?"

She nodded her head to signal no and just buried herself further in his chest. "So Samantha. Why did you refuse?"

I thought about it for a second. "I don't think I could do as good of a job at it-"

"Oh hush Samantha," Samuel said interrupting. "I wouldn't have offered it to you if I didn't value your potential."

"Which is something I will always treasure beyond belief," I paused though. "But your work is art and it has a flare and I think it would bother me to try. Also to be honest, I can't quite handle being the tough love giver nearly as well as you. I can do it to friends and family when they seek it or to players like with Tessa and Kat but I much prefer cultivating the life I have built for myself. Any desire I may have had to do what you do is more than satisfied by helping you when you ask."

"I am lucky to have met such wonderful women. You girls. All 8 of you are my deepest treasures. I wouldn't trade you friendship and respect for anything in the world."

I just smiled. I didn't need to say it. I think he knew. I felt the same way.

Author's Note Part 2! lol

I don't currently intend to follow this branch. This was just for context to old winners. But anyone is welcome to make a branch from here speculating on how winners are enjoying life and or the entire history of some of the losers. I encourage the creativity of others and I will be excited to read anyone that wishes to expand on these characters dive into mind control dom/sub relations

Who next?
