Nadine tells you about Lesley's upcoming baby shower, which she's organizing. You're happy to pitch in since you've got plenty of energy and Nadine, well, while the spirit is willing, the flesh is a little weak and her husband Chuck begs off on organizing a ladies' party. Even when you and Nadine try and tell him you'll hand him a detailed shopping list, he pleads cluelessness.

You sigh. "Another week," you say. "But we talk on the phone almost every day."

"You have any special plans?" Nadine asks.

"A few," you say, recalling your conversation with your honeybear.

"Why, Mary, you're blushing," Nadine says. "Well, they must be nice plans."

He's gonna kiss up on my dirt hole just like I kissed Annabelle's. And then he's going to put his wiener in it like I put that purple wiener up the poop hole of that nice pregnant nurse Jeannie Goodchild.

You cough and nod to Nadine. "Yes, we're looking forward to it." Sodomy.

You're also looking forward to Lesley's baby shower. Seeing Cheryl bring Lesley to touch Heaven after Pregnant Ladies' Swim Class was simply lovely.

Lesley's baby shower is a nice enough time, and Lesley is touched by all the ladies making much of her and reassuring her (Donna, Cheryl, and yourself) or standing by in sisterhood (Nadine and another pregnant lady from Swim Class), but Lesley gets tired after the fourth silly baby shower game and shoos you out early before anything, well, develops. So you leave Lesley with a bale of diapers and a stack of burp cloths and an angel blessing magnet you'd brought and a vibrator Cheryl brought and a gift certificate from Donna and a baby blanket from Nadine and you take Nadine home again, but this time Chuck is there, looking in the front of his pants like he's happy to see her, and Nadine gives you a little smile and waves goodbye as Chuck hustles her back to the bedroom.
