SR Day 7 - Talk to Sun

You pull Sun aside while the team is getting ready for the match.

"You need to wear clothes. Tiff says you're distracting the team," you say.

"I like distracting the team," Sun replies. "You like it too."

"We also like winning," you argue. "And we can't win like this."

"What do I get?" Sun asks, folding her arms.

"You get to win. Is that not obvious?" You cock your head at her.

"No. I want a favor." She smirks at you, but she's being funny in her own way.

"I don't have to bribe you to be a member of the team," you say, frustrated.

"You have to bribe me if you want to destroy my continental rights," she says, fluttering her eyelashes at you.

"Constitutional," you correct her. "You're not even American!"

"Whatever. You want me to behave or not?"

"I want you to be a teammate!"

"Do we have a deal?"

"No nudity before games?" you ask.

"Agreed."

You shake hands on it.

Sun keeps her word and stays dressed. Even when it's time to change into your uniforms, she is quick and modest.

Everyone seems good to go.

The practice match has the announcers and all the cameras, but the bleachers are empty. The game on Friday night will have a full audience. Sun is probably dying to flash those people...

...you definitely can't let her do that.

The atmosphere is... a little bit tense. It's just a practice game, but it is still your first game in FUTA.

You face off with Blue Team and get started. As expected, Adella is aggressive, and Beth and Duni are everywhere at once.

Viti blocks Adella's first shot, and Max gets the ball to Sam, who gets it to you. Beth almost steals it.

You give it to Lara, who blows your mind by getting past Duni, only to have it stolen by Feng, who you promptly knock down. Feng is not big enough to fuck with you and Lara like that.

But Adella is. You barely get out of the way in one piece... man she is scary. The game goes on.

Adella scores first. In the next quarter, Adella fakes you all into thinking she's the threat and gives it to Hana, who also scores.

You and Lara are able to bully your way back and clear the way for Aki to swoop and get one past Miranda, who... isn't very good. If you can reach this goal, you can score on it. Ingrid and Riona are both slow, but... OOF!

You can't underestimate Jill, you decide as you pick yourself back up. Jill is fast and strong.

...you also notice that this is a pretty rough game, but the whistles are not blowing. FUTA has normal soccer rules, but... it looks like the TV show likes all the bruising.

Unfortunately, scoring that goal seems to bother Adella, who turns it up and comes at you harder.

Sun runs past Adella, saying something to her... but you don't hear what it is.

Adella gets even more mad and loses her head. Sam trips her and passes the ball to you. You fight your way forward, pass to Lara to avoid having it stolen by Julieta, Lara gives it back, and you easily kick it past Miranda.

The rest of the game is a violent slog, but no more goals are scored. It ends in a tie; no shootouts in practice matches.

You are spent and panting, drenched in sweat like everyone else.

Adella looks unhappy, but you are satisfied. You felt like you were coming into that game from a disadvantage because of your distracted teammates, but whatever Sun did to Adella gave you an edge. You broke even.

Not bad. Team Pink is still OK.
