SOL - Talking about the past

You find yourself in the guitar girl's cell again, talking idly about the past. You already told her about how it started with Lucia, and she seems interested.

It's hard to say it... but you tell her how it ended. You tell the guitar girl about how you walked in on Lucia with a guy just in time to see him cum inside her... and about how you found out that she had a boyfriend the whole time that you thought she was with you.

The guitar girl listens while you tell her, then only says one thing: "That must have been really hard for you."

The guitar girl plucks at her guitar.

You tell her that you try not to get too close because why should you? People should keep things casual... it's easier that way.

"OK," she says. "Yes, you definitely don't want to dump them before they dump you. And you definitely don't want to have them first because you'll worry about someone else having them if you don't."

"Right," you say.

She gives you this look.

"What?" you say.

"Are you sure this Riley didn't make you feel threatened?" she asks.

"Threatened? She is good, but not that good," you say defensively. "But she's pretty, and she..." you stop, wondering what you were going to say.

"And what?"

"And I liked her," you tell the guitar girl.

"Because she's cute?"

Because... you don't know how to say it.

"I was stupid," you say.

"We're all stupid sometimes," guitar girl tells you.

That doesn't help.

"What would you do now?" she asks you.

"About what?"

"About her."

"I would..." You think about it. What would you do now? You would... separate your thoughts from your memories of Lucia. And look at Riley, and... you would tell her that you wanted to... what? Be with her?

"I would ask her on a date," you say to the guitar girl, and you try not to laugh.

"That sounds nice," she says.
